Had six calls from this number to my "ring all". The first five came with the country code missing - appearing to be Russian! The most recent had the 1 in. Blacklisted it now but why on earth they are calling such a little known number in London, only they, whoever they are, can say. The number, like all of my numbers, is on the TPS (DNC).

Same as above...call comes in pick up line, no answer when i say hello.

For unsolicited calls, you or your machine should answer, they have to pay for completed call.  Keep them talking as long as possible, give incorrect info.  Make them pay for your aggravation.

received a Easter suday call @ 1:30 PM (during our Easter meal) stating she was only doing her job, whatever that was, would not answer any??-  what ever happened to call-blocking-

This call was from someone who wanted a survey on fast food restaurants.

This is how you can harass them back:

call their toll-free number from a payphone booth. Every time they pick up, they have to reimburse the payphone company $0.50 or more.

It's really gratifying knowing that they have to pay to listen to your complaints.

STOP!!!

I answered the call which showed up as A714-463-2940.  They started rattling off something in spanish.  I told them I don't speak spanish and they wanted someone in the household who did speak spanish.  Just because I live in New Mexico doesn't mean that we all bilingual.  They were somewhat offended that there was no spanish speakers here.

They keep calling. Don't leave a message. The caller is listed as A7144632940, the same as the phone number that is calling.  Very annoying.

I got a call from this number at 8:21 p.m. on Saturday night. I answered & whoever it was immediately hung up on me.

caller id stated the name as Linda Yorba from CA.

This number is calling several times per day. No one talks when I answer so I  have started letting it go into my voice mail. They never leave a message. Instead I get the hang up this phone and try this number again message on my voicemail. I have run out of blocks on my phone blocker as ATT only allows 10 blocked calls which is also crap.

Five calls in 15 minutes. No one picks up.

they called last night on my cell phone, with a sales pitch about what "we"
were to talk about,   i told them to remove my number from their list.....

I received (3) consecutive phone calls from this # 714.463.2940. Didn't answer because my general protocol is to not answer calls from phone numbers that I am not familiar with and/or that are unable to be identified. It has dawned on me now that this phone call is related to the market research TV SHOW PREVIEW that I recently attended at Sheraton Bancroft in Danvers MA on Friday, 1 May 2009.

Now when they call back I will pick up. The 714 exchange is for California.

I have received 2 calls on my mobile from this number now, both went to ansa-phone and in bothe cases no messages were left.
They are calling my mobile phone in the UK!

I received 3 calls from this outfit in an hour and a half this evening. As soon as my answering machine picked up, they hung up. A do not call complaint has been filed.

Yesterday I received several solicitation calls that came up on caller ID as private caller. These guys will stoop to anything. They are about as low as what comes from the bottom of your shoe.

I was just doing some research and found that the calls are comming from Datasention send email to them at dnc@datascension.com to request removal from their calling list.

I too receive calls from this number.
No one speaks when I answer.

This number calls constantly...5 times this week.  Woman with strong indian accent asking for someone who doesn't live here.  Her voice sounds the same as 714-463-2940 number with a man calling. Hangs up abruptly on me.

Hit this one with "S.I.T." tones. it WORKS! this one was calling daily until I did that. The SIT tones make it take your number off it's list...

Got a call from this number and no one on the other end.....talk about harassment and a waste of time

I have received 2 calls from this number in the last hour on my caller ID.  After googling the number, I have filed a complaint to the FCC and DNC registry.
