You choose to do this, when you ought to invest in yourself. Wht don't you learn a skill that's valuable and quit wasting my time and cell phone minutes. We get 20 calls a week from dipsticks like you....oh poor me, buy my tools so my family won't starve.

You refuse to invest in yourself and always find excuses....I'm too busy, I can't afford to, blah, blah, blah. Provide more value to someone by doing something more valuable to others. Solve problems, get paid. Be a problem, earn little. Telemarketers are a problem, not a solution.

Telemarketer
Every time you enter a phone number into an online form or any form (win a car at the mall, send me info about your 'whatever) you allow someone to call you even IF YOU ARE REGISTERED ON THE DNC LIST.  your Request for a call, and including your phone invites people to call you.  more people need to understand this. i don't knwo about this company exactly.  if you got a call on a business line and you are 300% positive that you didn't put it out there... then someone may have guessed at your number and sold it to a marketing co such as this.  when that happens, the marketing compnay doesn't know it's not legit. the people just dial.  if you do not want them to call you, then say, very specifically:  please put my on your DNC list.  they should do it.  there are plenty of compnaies that are not legit who won't listen to you. they are causing the problems and pissing all you people off.   last, just because you recieve a call from one place with a phone number and name, does not mean they are the same person calling you later.  people should avoid 'grouping' telemarketing into one category as clearly if you pay attention, it's not all the same thing.  i should sue target for calling me constantly about my prescipriton being in.  oh wait, i can't cause i asked them to do it.  and I am on the DNC list.  ;)  mellow out people. think about who and when you give your info out. read the fine print.  ~ advice from an compliance oficer.

It is rude to not leave a message. A telemarketer has no right to be deceptive on the phone. If someone wants to screen your calls to voicemail, you are being rude and possibly violationg the law by trying to evade the screen. Your hard luck does not entitle you to speak personally with anyone who does not know you. People have a right to be left alone. It is part of the First Amendment, and quite a few other laws.

They started calling my cellphone somehow.  They also used 714-333-0107.  They refused to give me their business address.  One person said they were from CA.  Another from the Philippines.  They used fake names like Sara Brown, Jack Pierce, and Samantha Williams even though their indian accents were so thick I could barely understand them.  They can't lie about their names, location, and business address and be legally telemarketing.

So I turned on a soft phone that costs .01 a minute and lets me dial out 8 lines at a time on my computer.   They started begging me to stop and told me that I was costing them business.  I drove them crazy for about an hour, and then they stopped answering the phone.  Even after they stopped answering I got into the switch board 8 calls at a time and tied up their lines.  I changed the caller ID to different numbers so they couldn't tell who was calling.  Yeah, I've had enough.  This really works.

My advice is to use a service like voip.ms where you can get a phone number for $2 a month, and then get a free voip app for your computer.  On mac I use an app called "Telephone."  This is the cheapest fun I've had all week.  It cost me about 90 minutes and $3, and I called them to death for a change.

tj, if you are a legitimate phone sales person, okay, no problem.  Your making a living for you and your family.  You and all the regular phone sales business people that follow the rules, political groups that and survey groups that are Do Not Call List exempt, (although I personally wish they were not exempt)
are not the ones we are complaining about.

However, If I am on the Do Not Call list (I and all my family numbers are) and you call me, then you violated the law.  In that case you get what you deserve if someone yells at you, calls you names or whatever.  You have done something I have expressly asked no one to do except a business I already do business with.  Those, and the people that so many are truly angry with, are the ones that call repeatedly after we ask nicely to, not call anymore, remove us from thier list, etc., and what we get is more calls, profanity laced tirades, and harrassment.

I and all my family phones are on the Do Not Call List.  They call anyway!  They are for the most part outside the country and know that the FCC can't do a D@@n thing to them.  Most phojne carriers will only block the number for a temporary period, usually 90 days, for free.  Otherwise they want you to pay to block it, From someone that shouldn't be calling inthe first place.

I feel for you tj, and I have been there. I did the same thing that you do for about 6 months as well (just till I could get something else) but I also understand why people hate telemarketers. Generally speaking, I do too. I can't stand to be bothered over and over again (especially on MY weekend)! I always start by doing what you are supposed to do and push "2" or whatever to be put on their do not call list, but after several calls from the same number or people, I get very angry and whoever is on the other end of the phone really hears it. I NEVER buy over the phone and so I always try to get removed, but when it doesn't work, your company is just setting you up to be yelled at. Sorry!

Received a call from this number on my business-only phone. Don't know how in the world I got on a call list from telemarketers. This is not the only such call I have received in the past 24 hours. I do know one thing: this is an impediment to me being able to make a living.

If I or anyone else wants tools or some other product, we will research it and go buy it locally or online. We don/t need useless annoying calls all day long. We especially don't need them on our cell phones, who do you think pays for those minutes? You the telemarketer? NOT !! Now, take you the Telemarketer, times 10 or even more, times 365 days of the year. Would you like all those annoying calls to your home when maybe your sleeping or eating or even using the restroom. I respect your enthusiasm to want to work and support your family, but not like that. Advertise, and get your product or compnay out there and if I and everyone else are interested, we'll contact you.

go to this website and register your phone number.  If you do this, you can track any further activity and take legal action if violated.  Read all the entities that do not apply, but this should take care of this annoying number calling you.  Good luck.

This appeared on my cell phone as a missed call.  I apparently did not hear it ringing.  However, I decided to type it in to "google" and found these complaints.  Unfortunately, it may now be legal to do advertising on peoples' cell phones.  I find this to be most irritating since it takes up minutes on the phone that get charged.

I got a call from that number, but nobody answered after I have picked up the phone. I guess they expect me to call them back. Of course, I won't do it.
If you call them back they can steal your contact numbers. Do not call them back even if using *67, which may not show your number but your phone line is open to them and they can steal your information.

I called them back and they gave me the person's name of who filled out this form and it was not me. I *67 my number in order to block it. I then asked where one would go to fill this form out because I would like to see this form. I had to explain this to the person 3 times and then they just hung up on me. I also received calls from a (444) 448-9738 and (771) 824-9427. When I call these back they say unavailable and hang up on me.
