I JUST RECIEVED THE SAME TYPE OF CALL. CALLER ID SHOWED "OUT OF AREA 911:.

This is a very scary call from a very scary voice.  I didn't really understand it because it sounded like something from a horror movie, but this caller has too much of my personal information.  If I knew where to report this, I would... but do the authorities even care if someone is abusing the telephone?

Received a call from 714-482-3717, stating that there was a judgement against me for a credit card that I never had. They also called about a judgement for my three year old son. This is a scam!!!!!!!!

Is there anyway to file charges and have this person put in jail himself? This happens to me and I suffered a severe panic attack, had to call EMTs thought I was having a heart attack.

I have been badgered with calls from the "Federal Law Department" from someone with an Indian accent whose says he is a paralegal and his name is Kevin Peterson in Sacramento. His telephone number is 916-850-0539.

I am going to contact the US Attorney's office concerning this.

I received a phone call in July and they left me a voicemail that scared the crap out of me stating that there was criminal charges against me and I needed to call this number back, if I disregarded this message then he wished me and my family good luck... I called back and it was a lady named Karen on the voice mail so I thought I had the wrong number so I called back and left a message... The next morning they called me again and told me to write a number to call and talk to a rep... It was the same number they called me from so when I asked to speak to a supervisor they yelled at me and said there isnt one and hung up on me... They tried telling me I received a payday loan but funny thing is I don't have a bank account so I called the police and they haven't called till a month later they called me today but with another number so I told them I was calling the police again and he screamed at me and begged me 4 times to please not call the police so I hung up and called non emergency and while I was on the phone with them they called 5 times... This is so crazy that they're doing this to people so I put it on Facebook if anyone from DFF financial fraud calls you it's a scam and call the police!!!

had the same thing happen to me today the 9th i told the man i never ot a loan from this company  he stated he was from the atorney generals office of calif.  my on in law is a police officer and he said it is scam.  wanting to get your money..

My Job received a phone call from this number and have scared my boss, she thinks i'm in trouble with the law which i am not. John Watson can kiss my blank for all this stress they are causing me and my superiors at work.

i started receving the calls this morning . person stated if i didnt send money within the hour they would come to my work and arrest me. told persone not gonna do  and he wished me good luck. person then went on to say i feel sorry for your kids when they take you away monday morning. i was told they would pick me up, take me to the airport and send me to californina. i would be responsible for all the expenses and my kids would go with cps and went i got out of jail in 6 months i could see them. this is ridiculous they are playing on peoples emotions and vulnerablilities, something needs to be done. i am not prejudice but this strongly makes me dislike indian people. they can get very nasty.

I gt the same call saying the same charges. When i offered to make a payment he said i have one hour or the cops will show up. I then asked to speak with his super and he hung up. I then called back notifing him that i was a police officer and he told me he didnt care i could get under his desk and suck his D***. and he hung up. No more calls after that lol

I received a call from these scammers saying that I owe them money from a pay day loan.  They told me that I should fax them an authorization that would allow them to debit my account.  I told them that I already paid the loan and could provide a bank statement proving it.  They then dismissed the false accusations.  They had the nerve to call me back 8 months later  representing state attorney Kevin Lloyds with the same threats of 3 pending charges and sending authorities to my office to arrest me.  I told them once again that I have evidence that the payment was successfully debited from my account.  I aske them for contact information so that I could have my lawyer contact the.  They hung up on me and when I tried to call back, they blocked my number.

Told we were being sued for a pay day loan of $300.00 Pay now or it will cost over $2000.00

As soon as I mentioned scam, he hung up. He did not speak good English.

I received a call from this phone # on the Fourth of July - once on my cell that everyone has and once at work on this holiday where no one was working - duh! The dummy left a threatening voicemail for a person named 'Jennifer Anne Ryan' which is not me so I guess the yolk is on him for mixing up his stolen data. I refuse to communicate with this person as this company has phished with different phone numbers for weeks now and I have saved every one of them for the police to handle.

Report to your local police departments - everyone start there.

I just got off the phone with these wackos.... For a second, he had me going but they way he was telling me to pay him I thought was strange. I told him to go screw himself... He wasn't getting a dime from me. No one from the State Attorneys Office would talk to people like that.... Talking about "Good Luck in Jail" ha ha what a joke.... I tell ya, people will try anything to make a dollar....

John Watson is the assehole name. They are sick a***oles who is just trying to get money outta you and it will not work with me. I told him to go jump off a bridge and break his neck!!!! I told him if he ever calls me back I will hunt him down and kick his f****ng a**. Its to that point b/c now the d****ead calling my job.

I keep receining call from this number as well and they told me I have 3 chrages against me also, Which I do not belleive. I've never been in any type of trouble with the law what so ever. Its all a scam. They crazy part is these jack***es has my info and will not stop calling me what so ever. I curse them out and tell them I'm having the call trace and they hangs up on me. They even called my job and asked my supervisior what time shuld they send the police to my job to come get me. They guy said in order fot me not to go to jail I have to pay $530.00 to him and if I did nit have it up front he'll take what I have and I can pay in installments. Firt he said to wester union him the money and just send him a check/money order and he'll just give it to the loan copany I owe. I never took out any loan form anyone, I thought about getting a payday loan from offline but determined it was a scam so I changed my mind. But I'm not going to lie they had me cared for a moment but realized they trying to get moeny out of me.

On Thu. 6/28 I got my call like those that everyone is describing and was very shaken up about it.  I contacted my identity theft protection company and they googled this 714-482-3318 # and told me it was a scam.  I felt much better knowing that.  I got another call from this same heavy-accented liar on Sat. 6/30 and I told him off and hung up.  Haven't heard back from him, but I got a message on my voicemail on Mon. 7/2 from a new # (646-937-8595) from a "Kevin Walker" with another Middle-Eastern accent with the same ridiculous lines.  I did not call him back and have not heard back from him -- yet...  

Because of these calls, my suggestion to everyone is to sign up with an identity theft protection company, who can monitor possibly fraudulent use of your name and account numbers.  I have had one for the last 3 years which costs $10 per month, but because of this recent situation I have now upgraded to their top plan (at $25/month) that also monitors public records, court cases, payday loan applications, known criminal websites, etc.  I sleep better knowing I have this full protection, that I will be alerted when anything happens with my name or numbers, and that they will immediately spring into action to fix the issue (I have a $1 million fraud protection guarantee)...  Best wishes, everyone -- we've been through enough already.  May none of us receive these kinds of calls from these criminals ever again...

I RECEIVED A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER STATING THAT I HAVE A LEGAL MATTER PENDING AND IF I DONT CALL BACK IN A CERTAIN TIME, THEN HE WOULD BE FORCE TO TAKE LEGAL ACTION AGAINST ME. WHEN YOU CALL THE NUMBER BACK IT GOES TO A VOICEMAIL OF A LADY. THE MAN THAT CALLS HAS A HEAVY ACCENT AND SOMEWHAT HARD TO UNDERSTAND. HE ALSO HAS MY WORK NUMBER WHICH IS VERY ANNOYING.....THIS IS A SCAM

Definietly a scammer! I cried for about 20 minutes got specific directions on what to do, and then called my mom. I then called the customer services number for my loan company and she confirmed that it was a scammer and they are required to follow policy and to report this number. Please be aware that this 714-482-3318 and his "direct line" 415-935-6189 ARE SCAMS. He is not an attorney general looking for information regarding a serious matter.

I am a 20 year old college student and this scared the life out of me, so for my fellow college students be aware that when a loan company wants to put a warrant out for your arrest they must first contact you in a matter of resolving the issue, then send a letter to the DA office who will then send you an official letter giving you so many days to resolve the issues before putting a warrant out for your arrest. A real company also will ask for you to verify your last 4 of your social, not the whole thing. NEVER give out your complete social.

If i would've had the money in my account and not have called my mom I would be out $545.35 right now. And there is no way to get that money back . They are out of the country scammers, just be aware and on your toes for these kinds of things.

The same people are calling me. How can I make them stop?  Is there anything we can do to stop them from calling others?

yes i got this call 3 times today i had a incodent like a yr ago with same thing its just posers using a magic jack is all dont asnwer just hang up if it was anything legal a processor would come to your house or get something in the mail about it not a call.

Similar to earlier posts, caller with Indian/Pakistani accent called me at work on afternoon of 7/2/12. He was "just a paralegal" and didn't have any information about the charges pending against me.  But I must call Kevin Lloyd law office immediately at 714.482.3318 to resolve this. And I must keep calling even if I get a busy signal.  Stupid hoax.

I just received a threatening call from someone stating that they worked from the State Attorney's office.
They stated that I was going to be arrested at my job and spend 6 months in jail because I didn't pay back a loan. I didn't receive a loan.  They didn't give me any information on where I got a loan,  the amount, when it was received. I told them that I didn't get a loan. They said good luck with whatever happens if I don't return the call.

Looks like they changed their phone number but it's the same scam using the same names (Bruce Mason, Christinia Brown, Mark Taylor and Peter Moore --- all with an extreemly hard to understand Indain accent)  The number they used to call from was 202-461-3238 now it's 714-482-3318.  My issue came from an app I fille dout on line for a pay day loan - I never got one but they claim I did and don't know what to say when you ask them questions.

Hey guys I have been getting calls from these people for days and i just happened to answer this afternoon Friday the 29th of June. Very rude and American names but all Indians other than Karin Black voice mail. I am contacting my attorney Monday after work. When I asked about the laws I supposedly broke they would not tell me. I called back after he hung up on me they asked me not to call back again and they were issuing a warrant for my arrest. i then in turn called the Sherriffs department and then the police. This information they told me that there is no warrant that is being issued and I am not the only one that has called about this. I will be posting back on here after I get more information apparently they are in California. If anyone has any questions after my next post I will have some more details for you there. This needs to stop lazy a***oles need to go out and get a real job and stop trying to scare the living daylights out of people.

Same thing for me... It is a scam. I contacted the local police in my area and they came out to do a report. They called the company for me and verified that it was a scam. My case was referred to the FBI, but they said little could be done to stop it since they were overseas.

I received 3 phone calls this am on my cell phone and 1 at my job.  I could not understand anything the gentleman said as he had a very strong India accent. When he called my job, my co-worker advised him that no one by my name worked here.  He then left a voice mail on my cell phone, which I could not understand most of it but at the end he said something to the effect that if I didn't call back today, the best of luck to me.  I then googled the number and realized this is a scam.  This is so very irritating and annoying.  Don't be fooled people, these people are trying to bully you into paying them money.  If they threaten to send a police officer, tell them to go ahead, you are waiting-the police will never show up.  This is a scam.
