I live in Orange County, CA and got a call from this number.  Caller ID says Orange, CA (City of Orange) but I didn't answer because of so many disguised telemarketer calls lately.  I called back and got a fast busy signal, so it is definitely a telemarketer.

I picked up the phone and I (MALE Voice ) say Hello?  Hi Joan? Does this sound like a Joan?  Oh Is the owner for the house there?   NO. I Rent.  Click   5 and 6 times a day.  What ever happen to the Do Not Call list ???

got this call and saw the display with '714' area code and ignored it. don't know what it's about.

got a call from them, when I called back got nothing but long periods of hold. May be related to iQor/Canadian Bonded Credits Limited.

This number called my cell phone 2 days ago (which is unlisted) and said my vehicle warranty will expire.  I have also received the same message from at least 2 other numbers this week--an 818 and a 505,number (on my cell aswell) and my husband is also getting them on his cell phone (also, unlisted).  We have said take us off your call list and today I asked how they actually got my cell number and after a brief pause (the girl went to say something and then didn't) and then the girl just hung up on me!!!!  I am not only getting charged daytime minutes but also long distance charges every time these scammers call.  And yes, I have to answer them because my husband is all over the country working right now so theres always a chance it may be him (he can't always use his cell to call me as he doesn't always have good reception).  The best part is, is that I don't have a licence let alone a vehicle!!  I have looked up the 505 number and it comes up as Kelly Benton in NM.  The 818 # doesn't come up with anything, and neither does the 714 #.  I also live in Canada so why is someone from the USA calling me (and others) in Canada?  My biggest concern is how the heck they got our unlisted phone numbers. Both my husband and I have been with our cell provider for 9 years and we called them and complained about the fact that we pay extra for an unlisted # and that we're  fed up with the telemarketers calling. We're also registered on the  Do Not Call List and ever since it came into effect for our numbers (3 weeks ago) we have received more solicitation calls then we EVER did prior to registering our numbers.  Our cell company has assured us over and over that they didn't sell our numbers out--so how are these scammers getting them?  Oh, and my mom also gets these calls and she has even went so far as to change her phone numbers.  I think we're all at our wits ends with this and there has to be something that can be done to stop this harassment from these scammers.

Yes, we're also in the Greater Vancouver Area and our cellular phone showed that # as a missed call. Thanks to this site that we know this is probably a scam phone number.

i got a call at around 7:30 while i was eating my diner here in ottawa canada. all i got was stupid silence! atleast tell me i won lol

yeah I just got a call on my cellphone from this number this morning and screened it. i'd like to know how the hell they got my number! I live in Burnaby, British Columbia...anyone else from here get called?

yeah, I hadn't thought much of it and hit 1. I then just realised what I ha done. I probably told the that my phone number was valid. Anyways it then disconnected by itself.

My phone number was selected to receive a prize.....press 1.  A recording with a strong accent.  I hung up.
I called back and got an American lady trying to sell me a timeshare in Mexico.

Yes.. i just got a call too on my cell phone.  I didn't recognize the number so i typed it quickly into my search engine. Thanks to you guys, i know its not legit.

Missed the call, I searched the area code and it's unlisted from LA, CA.  Don't even know anyone living in that area, most likely a prank or telemarketing call.

I got a call today too... guess it's another telemarketing scam when will it end?  I think I have like 20 days till the Do not Call registry thing kicks into effect?

got called today, answered the phone and got just silence, no reply so I hung up! Called the number back and it just rang many times until finally it said in automated tone that "no one was available to take the call".

Automated telemarketing nonsense in a Russian-esque voice saying that I had won a promotion, press 1 to claim my prize. I hung up and called back, but got repeated busy signal.
