I receveid a recording that stated "We regret to inform you that we have locked your debit card.  Please press "1" to connct with our security department."  I don't have a debit card.....but they wanted the account number to verify.  Scammers abound.  Be careful.

Got a call at 9pm on a Sunday night from them. I didn't pick up and they left no message. Annoying.

Sounds like a new summer scam that is somehow getting cell phone numbers.
Nationwide Local Listing LLC is the company.

Just got a message from 7145053945. Caller ID listed it as 1611. Says my (garble)Max debit card has been temp suspended. Scam. I am reporting it.

i got a call from this number but i didnt answer and i called it back and it was busy but i will remember what you guys said about this number

Just got a call from this number today while on the phone with a friend. I got the part about the security department... but that was it. I called the number back, thinking it was a different friend, and all I got was a busy tone.

received a voice mail at work from this number-said it was transferred to the security department

This call woke us up at 5am! We didn't answer before our machine picked up, and there was no message. I'm very, very angry at these people.

this number called me at 1:45 am , scared me to death because usually middle of night calls are not good ones, i did not answer but am furious

They just called me so I googled the number.  Found this on a Scam Site:

"July 1, 2010 - Scam Phone Call

Your Tyndall Federal Credit Union (or other) debit card has been blocked.  Please press 1 for more information.

(the phone number that sometimes appears in Caller ID is 714-505-3945)"

Same call from 714-505-3945 at 3:30 in the morning stating debit card was stolen press 1 for more instructions.  This was on the Boston news recently.  Don't give any info, just hang up.

Got a call at 11:27  pm on Easter Sunday 4/24/11. I didnt answer answer the phone, but was curious about the call from CA, so I looked up and found this! Good to know its just another SCAM!

THIS IS A CORUPT PHONE CALL. DO NO ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS OVER THE PHONE PERTAINING TO YOUR BANKS DEBIT CARD. CONTACTED MY LOCAL POLIC DEPARTMENT WHO VERIFIED THIS. I WAS THEN  INSTRUCTED TO CANCEL MY EXISTING ACCOUNT WHICH I DID THROUGH MY LOCAL BANK (SOVERIGN BANK).

They called my cell at 11:31 p.m.  I didn't answer.  They didn't leave a message.  I checked the phone number on Whitepages.com and it belongs to Joey Dong, Manager of Nationwide Local Listings, a Search Engine Optimization company.

Yeah they just called, said my debit card was deactivated, and to press one to verify things. Did nothing, and it hung up in 10 seconds. These guys should be arrested for trying to grab card numbers...

Received call at 3:15am Eastern time 4/23. Same automated message about deactivated ATM card. Did not return call.

Just received an automated call requesting my 16 digit # from my bank (where I DON'T even have an account)! I just kept hitting "0" trying to get a person on the line, so I could ask him/her a few questions of my own. No live person - just an automatic response. Be careful!
