this lady has called me from 3 different companies with the same name they are now in Alhambra I could not get the number because it was blocked but this lady keeps accusing me of having an account that I don't have I verified with my social and my name I am NOT this person but yet she call me nonstop calling me names I don't know who she really is but she goes by Mary Louise so I finally called back and someone was able to give me her real name Christine Hansford
mad people in her own company don't like her anyway she's harassing me nonstop from 3 different companies I am NOT this individual and I'm tired of her somebody help me I can't do this no more he's calling my neighbors my relatives and telling them everything

My mother received a call from them and she was very shaken up afterwards. The caller claimed she had a civil complaint filed against her and needed to come pick up the legal documents. He wouldn't tell her who had filed the complaint and just gave her a 909 number to call and said it was toll free. That was his first lie. He then told her he was going to send the US Marshals after her. I google the number from the guy who told her to call Davis & Associates and haven't found anything yet, my guess is it's a new number. They want you to be the one calling them so they can legally extract information from them. After I saw all this and showed it to my mother, she feels a lot better.

My mother is elderly and in poor health and I don't appreciate some bottom feeder scaring her like that.

got the same call just today, sounded like a teenager leaving me a message stating I'm being served papers from Davidson Associates and i should contact them to settle this matter, he left me the case # but no phone number to call back.   what is going on with this world?

My boss got a call from someone claiming to be from Davis and Associates. They claimed they had two warrants out for my arrest. I called them back to find out what was going on and spoke with a Timm Hoffman and Mr. Buchannan. The number was 281-760-3063.  Asked them to please send me documentation as to my debt and if was truly mine I would gladly pay it. Called me a thief...swore at me many times and even told me to shut the hell up. I called back 4 times after repeatedly being hung up on to try and get a mailing address so that my lawyer can verify their companies is legit. This produced more threats and name calling and being hung up on again. I do believe I just encountered every illegal debt collection practice there is!

My husband and I just went through the same grueling phone call. They did know where he worked but attempted to say they verified his wages. My rebuttal was, " Really, those wages should have been verified by my office", the lady was quick to say, Oh is he self-employed, it was at that moment we knew it was a scam. The woman handling the scam said she was a processor and went through the same thing with her daughter who was attending the Art Institute in Dallas as she was from Fort Worth, TX and the toll booth her daughter drove by everyday in the woman's car was suing them for payment. And I thought everything in TEXAS was bigger, she takes the cake.

These same people been calling me at my job and on my cell phone trying to bully me out of money ,I have reported them to the FTC and everyone on here should do the same  thing as well if you don't report them they will continue this BS ..FTC number is 18773824357 call them so we can put a stop to these scammers!!!

I have received several calls from this number telling me they have tried to serve me with legal papers,  and threatening to go to my job etc.   They keep calling me, trying to frighten me, intimidate me, threaten me etc.  Something needs to be done about these people!  Harrassment is illegal!

These people do need to be reported. They are conducting business in an illegal manner.

Rude and completely dishonest with their scare tactic "spiel". A female answers the phone and then gets mad and insults you if you ask a question that she can't or doesn't want to answer. She will yell at you and then tell you to quit yelling at her, even though you haven't raised your voice at all. May have mental issues, I don't know.

I recived the same phone call at work and a lady name Jennifer called me and was very rude saying she was going to send me papers to sue.

Received a call at my home, cell phone and work. Threatening me with a subpeona. They identified themselves as Davis and associates and Mary Loyds offfice. Called them back and spoke with someone claiming to be Mary Loyd. She was extremely rude claiming something about a debt from a bank that I have never heard of. I asked them if they could send me something and writing and she refused and claimed that they had already sent letters which they had not. I asked her repeatedly what they were asking of me and she just continued to talk over me and then hung up on me. I called the number back again and asked the person that answered what they were asking of me or what they expected from me. After repeatedly talking over me she finally stated that I could settle the debt by giving here me a debit card number. So I asked her what the debt was and if they could provide proof of the debt and she hung up on me.

Total scam, trying to take advantage of people that would give out there ATM card over the phone. I am going to look into how these crooks can be reported to the FBI or some other authority.

I work in an HR dept. and they called me to verify employment on an individual.  I was at lunch at the time and the caller did not want to be put thru to my voicemail.  The receptionist took down the message, but the caller would not give her the last name of the employee.  I returned their call and was treated very rudely!!  They asked for the last name and I said it wasn't given.  The caller then proceeded to tell me that she did indeed leave a last name and a case number and all the pertinent information.  Upon further questioning of my receptionist, I found out that the caller would not give her any information except her first name!!  I tried to call the # back and ask for a manager and was treated very unprofessional!! She was extremely rude, beligerent, etc. and would not let me speak with a manager.  Said that I was wasting their time!!!!  Rest assured that if and when this office contacts mine in the future, I will give her/them the same courtesy I was shown.

Got a.call from mary Lloyd's office claiming they would serve me at work fir a debt I'm telling them.is mine not mine. She then told me that they knew i had checked my credit report & that it was.now.on there. These people are ridiculous!!!

I am not sure what the rules in each state are but I know that in WI you can legally record them as long as you tell them, no matter what they try to tell you. And in Texas they cannot legally go to your job. It is a good idea to find out in each of your states to find out this info and I am sure that you can get it free both online and from your state attorney's office. Do Not Give these People Any Information, I truely believe they are scammers trying to frighten people into giving them credit card info ect on the phone in order to "Pay Now to Avoid Further Action"  They are basically trying to steal your money in a way you wouldn't be able to do anything about. My personal opinion but believe these people are crooked as they come.

I would just like to know how they get someone's home and cell number? This is scary!!!

I recieved the same call on both my house phone and my home phone.  And after looking at this site I'm not sure that it isn't some kind of scam.  I'm not calling them and we will see what happens!

I got a message on my service this morning fom this number telling me that this was Davis and Associates and that they were calling because I was going to be seved a summons/complaint between 12p and 2pm on Monday 3/11 and they were trying to verifiy that I would be availabe to receive the paper work. I called them back seeking info because I did not know what this was connected to. The woman was nasty, belligerent, screamed at me, called me names, I could not get a word in edgewise. She told me I owed this money and I needed to man up and pay my bills, That Obama had not revised the interest laws and to not even try to pull that on her. She told me I was scum and I needed to be responsible and take care of my debts. She told me they were collet for some bank  but mumbled the name, she would not repeat the name. She then told me the amount I owed was over $4000 but I could settle for $1246 I tried to get more detailed information but the barage of name calling continued and I hung up. I decided to call back and ask for a supervisor, a woman named Cherrie answered the phone while I asked for a supervisor the blocked number was ringing in the minute I asked the ringing stopped and the same woman came on the phone trying to pass herself off as a supervisor, the insults and name calling began again. I told her I wanted a supervisor and she Screamed I am a supervisor. We will be serving you today between 12 and 2. I hung up. They attempted to call again about 30 min later I did not answer. I checked with my credit card and with court systems no one has anything on the books with my name on it. I got to work and found out they had called my boss and wanted to know what our policy was on summons service, they were vague he didn't really give them any info other that it needed to be done in private. They told him they would be serving me betwee12 and 2 on Tue the 12th. So someone does have alot of info about me. Believe this is a fishing expedition, trying to get money info or what ever. They gave me 3 different days that I was going to be served.  Reported it to the States Attorney of WY. They too believe it is a scam. Guess I let you all know if some one shows up.

Same thing and it is completely illegal to harass you at your place of employment about a personal matter!

They called my home and my work! They left a message at my work saying that they were sending someone to serve me with papers and didn't want to disrupt the business. Trying to scare me? How do they live with themselves.

Got a call too today from a female that never identified herself......left me a message saying that they received some legal documents in their "clerks" office for me or the attorney representing me and that I needed to contact the "company" that had made this claim which happens to be Davis and Associates, also they made some statement about a dean of all info (whatever that means) and that they would send it to mass. Never have I received a call like this. After reading all these comments it seems that these people have come up with a clever plan to try to finally have you call them back for past debt collections. They are ridiculous!

Got a call yesterday morning from a private number... Told me that the were sending out a st100 summons and I needed to call back within 24 hrs... They said to call Davis and Associates Corporate Office... The number they gave is 7145196153... So similar. Same area code and prefix... And the situation is so similar... What is going on with these people.?.

I received a call from them telling me they wanted to talk to me about the property I lived at saying they got complains and that they were going to take me to court, upon returning the call they said that they are taking me to court (mind yah I live in Michigan and they are based in califorina)  well my husband called them back and in Michigan we are one party recording state notified them this call was being recorded and got hung up on and spoken to very rudly.  when we called back to try to resolve the matter the woman said I threaten her ad she would call the police for us harassing them.  In future just know your recording laws and show them the love they show you btw they haven't called back or sent anyone to my house

So got a call just like everyone else, simply typed in their phone number to google and found out they are listed as telemarketers. NOT LEGIT, dont worry just call them and tell them you found their company online and know they are bunk.
