5th call from this robo scammer.  Calls began on 12/137/13 and continued on 1/13/14, 1/13/14, 1/30/14.

No message and dial tone sounds as my answering is speaking.  Never leaves a message.

They are persistent.....what a joke.

Use Google Voice as your voicemail and blocking will be easy

OK we all know these are indian f**** calling from god knows where looking for your credit card number from a low interest rate. NEVER give your card or full social # to someone calling you, if its legit they will already have that info.
.  Idont want to block them,  i want to physically stop them. The problem is, they call you from a number that is not a working number when you call back. This means they are calling   from a number that is conjoined to their origoriginal number via the internet. Its similar to rerouting your house number to your cell number etc. So does anyone know how or what I have to do or download to grab their info? Many criminals with autodialers remain because you cannot prosecute what you cannot find behind cheap VOIP connections and spoofed numbers. They will never be found if your only response is to throw tantrums about how "the government does nothing".

There is a website "whocalledus" that compiles records of these calls, so someone is doing SOMETHING.

The do not call registry certainly cuts down the number of these annoying calls I get. It IS in your best interest to register your number, because if they call again (they have 31 days to update databases), you can report them to the FCC - and they certainly can find out who is at the other end of the phone line!

Got call from this number on Cell phone and I don't give out my cell number.. That is the phone they called, I only use it for family and really close friends.  HUM makes you wonder if some one working for these cell phone companies sell numbers to low life scum bags for money.  In this day and age nothing would surprise me.  I don't answer unless I know the number and use my landline for family friends and anything I need to discuss for bill paying and etc.

this number 7145516823 called me and hung up, I called back because of the area code I know, but it was a survey that I went through.  what a waste of time, how did I get my number into their hands?

just got a call from them. trying to get my credit card info. i don't and never have owned a credit card.

robocall--then man who said they worked with non-profits to lower credit card rates.  Said name of company was "Debt Relief" but when I asked how I could check them out said google "Debt Relief"  Ha!  Told him robocalling was illegal.

Called this morning and did not answer. I don't answer to telemarketers like this one - don't know anyone in Orange County (the 714 area code)

There is such a thing called the DO NOT CALL list, and it has to be said to be removed otherwise you may still get called. There is no such thing as a spam list that is for emails I believe.

Really? That's insane! I pushed the button to be on the DNC and supposedly it worked. However, I work in telecommunications not marketing. I constantly get people asking to be put on the DO NOT CALL LIST and by law I have to. As long as they say those three words otherwise the person being called can sue us if we didn't put them on that list. I would never ask the person being called to ask nicely, I would be FIRED.
