Very annoying!!! They have called me on my cell several times in the evening. Thanks for sharing everyone! I am going to call US Bank and asked them to remove my number from their marketing list.

I called them back and pressed option #3 to be on their do not call list

Simon, you're a nut case. It's just a call. Try to find an anger management class.

I don't know how much you can do, but who ever these callers are (calls in the morning, calls in the evening). I know something can be done to STOP the MADNESS of calling phone numbers all day long.

Thank you!
Sat 2012-08-21 17:42:54 Unknown
This is exactly what they want you to do. It means that someone is "alive" at the other end of the line and you will never be removed from the list for the potential chance that you may call back again. If you just ignore and never respond they will eventually stop after certain number attempts and try some other new numbers.

I answered the call from this number. They said they were calling for US Bank and asked for my husband by name. When I said he wasnt home they said they would call back

I hope there is a special place in hell for these SOBs-- this is to the point of out and out harrassment and they should be prosecuted

They are offering mortgage and loan life insurance as a third party provider for US Bank holders. We are on the do not call registry and it's not stopping them. US Bank doesn't take responsibility for them either. Good luck!

USBank customer also. This company tracked down my parents phone number somehow and left a vague message "regarding an accident" and the need to call them back or something. Actual content of message possibly lost in translation. Very upsetting for everyone involved.
Thanks US Bank!

I too just received a call; asking for me by my legal name which I don't go by. I too am a US Bank customer but maybe for not much longer. CAN WE GET ANY PEACE IN THIS COUNTRY?!??!?!
SoonToBeExVerizon 2012-06-29 02:11:53 Unknown
I just got this call. Asked for me by my legal name; not the one I go by. The only list I could be on with my legal name is Verizon which means they might be selling their customers names and cell number. I'm not at all that happy with them if thats the case.

A call from this number spoke of my name and greet in my native language ( ops, I confirmed) and then hung up. Very noisy on the phone.
shima 2012-06-25 21:32:07 Unknown
you may have a US Bank credit card, that info can be obtained from your credit report.

Started receiving calls from this number earlier this month.
Usually got the calls at work, so I hadn't been able to answer until yesterday.
I was skeptical when the girl talking on the other end kept stuttering and messing up her sales pitch, so I hung up when she tried to transfer me to her supervisor for additional information.
Contacting US Bank about it, and next time they call I'll be giving them a reason not to call back.
jenni 2012-06-20 22:28:41 Unknown
got the same call, didn't answer, and am also a US Bank customer. Thanks for the heads up. I will be sending US Bank an email about taking me off ALL marketing or third party email lists.

just received a call from a guy saying he was from u.s. bank selling some kind of insurance policy, i said i wasn't interested and he hung up on me immediately, DO NOT GIVE OUT ANY PERSONAL INFO!

Was told they were US Bank sending me a free preview of a 60 day insurance plan that would cover me if I was in the hospital for 3 or more days and they wanted to send me a 25.00 gift voucher too. Seemed fishy.
notenef 2012-06-19 00:37:19 Unknown
I have been receiving several calls a day from both 714-551-9583 (I have opted NOT to pick this up) AND 731-256-0031 (Once it said Comcast service when I returned the call and when I answered several times it was simply silent.)
It is very irritating.

SOLICITORS - MULTIPLE CALLS SOME DAYS

Called the bank, yes, they have affiliates etc, you must call the bank to opt out, since they automatically opt you in without you knowing it and give your information to people. The next thought I have is that everyone with US Bank, should write letters to their Board of Directors, get in on the news in your local city, of course change banks, but this practice is not OK!
