this paslisades collections a couple other numbers to look out for 3104092069  below the number it will say Beverly Hills, Ca  they're  voicemail messages gives a number of 18004148319 to call. this  called me in june . I reported this to the attroney general in the state of oregon

calls and for me by name.............I do not pick up with numbers that I don't know besides my phone blocks only 30 numbers and it is full from other jerks that call from different numbers. How do you get them to STOP

About 2 weeks ago we started receiving collection calls from 714.598.4041 for a person that actually lived in our house before we did.  We do not know this person.  We have never seen this person or had any contact with him whatsoever.  The only reason I know he used to live here is because we continue to receive his mail, which we send right back to the post office.

Recorded message asking for a particular person. The message says  press 1 if you are that person or press 2 if you are not.  I have pressed 2 numerous times and the same number calls again daily with the same message.  This has gone on for some time now.

They are a collection company called Palisades Collections.  Located in Orange county California.  They are ruthless and dont care about following the law.

It is Friday June 10, 2011, received a call at 7:12 p.m. from what sounded like Power Save Collections. (I will have to research this, which I fully intend on doing tomorrow, Saturday.)
I could not hear their automated recording very well, as their cheap dialer system kept saying "hold, hold, hold, " and I had to hang up, if anyone remembers the old fashion records that skipped. (YES, I am showing my age) lol.

I returned the call to their direct number to resolve the issue at hand; 714-598-4041, and pushed a series of combinations to get a "Live person." I probably would have been better off talking to a robot. Instead I Spoke with "Angel." I advised him that on May 21, 2011 my husband and I just obtained our new phone number (We changed phone companies and unfortunately inherited a number that belongs to a family that owes numerous companies)  We continue to receive calls from all sorts of creditors and collection agencies. (not all bad apples but of course this is extremely annoying since they have the wrong party.)

Angel, from 714-598-4041, said "yah" give it 24 hours."  I said no, remove the wrong number now. Speaking with this seemingly uneducated, rude, and in all probability a bad debt collector, I politely advised him that I am in the same industry as he. (the big difference is I work for reputable collection company, and I have standards)

I informed Angel that he should skip trace the account (try to locate the correct person) He did not want to hear this and became very agitated. He terminated the call after I asked him if he spoke english; (either he did not speak properly, was not listening, did not care, etc.)

If you are wondering why am I going on and on.. it is simple. I have ethics, morals and standards, I try to treat people the way I wanted to be treated and follow the laws. I just want to say that not all collection agencies or collectors are the same. Please do not lump us all into "category."



The "bad-apple" collection agencies ruin it for the reputable companies that are just doing their job. This irks me as I once owned my own small business and currently work for a wonderful, ethical company

If you receive a call from a truly bad collector, (not one that is just doing their job), but a "rotten apple." in all probability the debt collector is probably breaking the law, better known in the industry as the FDCPA which is governed by the Federal Trade Commission.

Please do not lump the bad-apple collectors with the the good ones. Believe it or not the good ones actually want to help you the best they can, offering possible solutions to help with collection problems. Especially now during this terrible economic period.

They have called before.    Today they left a message on my answering machine: "if you are David Press one,  If you are not Press 2"  I returned their call told the woman I was not David Please remove my number, she said they would within 24 hours ignore any other calls.

This number keeps calling my house it's a recorded message asking for Daniel saying press one. I hung up second time they called me.

I got a call from this number. I just received a phone call from a computer asking for a guy who doesn't live here (and who I have never met). It asked me to press one if I was him, two if I was not. I pressed two, and it said it would call back later, and hung up.

So I called back the number, kinda pissed that there was no way to tell it they have the wrong number and not to call back. It goes to a recording with several options. One for automated payments, one to get my "pin number" and then "other". I push the button for other, and then it gives me two options, search by social security number, or debt collector ID.

If I could get in touch with a supervisor or an actual human being, I'd really like to tell them it's a wrong number. I'm pretty sure this is illegal.

Called several times looking for somone that does not live here and I don't even know. The calls are normally during the day but last night it was at 11:07 P.M.. There is never anyone on the phone when I answer just a recording about some collection company looking for somone unknown to me. They always leave a different number to caal back on and ref acct#********. When I call that number to complain It never goes through.
