I have no idea who this is.

It's unbelievable on what lengths of harassment this guy will go to in order to make you feel you owe a debt.  My husband had called this number and person on other end would not give his name.  My husband let this guy have it, wouldn't let the poor India man speak, my husband said things I had never heard him say before, Mr. India man started making threats that he would kill us and my husband told him good luck, I'll be waiting for you.
Seriously, has anyone ever been threatened by a collection agency representative that would call you a m*f'er and have you killed?  This is by far the worst person I have ever dealt with.  You bet, I'll be calling the FTC.

I was called by this 9 digit number claiming that i was being sued, and amazingly enough they will leave a full voice mail with their call back number of 714-598-4246 They tried to claim that I was being sued and that I need to call them back or that i needed to have an attorney contact them immediatly. My husband being as wonderful as he is took my phone and asked them to send us some debt validation in the mail and they absolutly refused and then hung up. Any real lawyer knows that they have to send out debt validation in the mail and if its because you are being sued it will be handed to you by the police and you have to sign off that you recieved notice about it.
I was wondering if anyone has a number to call the FTC about this phishing scam; I really don't want to fill out anything online anymore.

The rep from the FTC said that if enough complaints are made they will begin an investigation!!

Update on the fake native of India.  The BBB gave me the telephone number to the FTC:  877-382-4357
It appears that the company is a collection agency, however the method being used is harrassment and the company can get fined.  

I am on the East Coast so the info I have may differ from the CA info and I am going to refer the FTC rep to this site as well.

I am quite sure that if we all get on the phone with the FTC we will not be  receiving any more of these calls.  I will be informing the fake as soon as I get off the phone with the FTC.

The gentleman with the fake broken english accent attmepting to sound like he is Indian told me criminal charges would be filed if his call was not returned in a half hour.  Too funny.  Earlier this week It was hang up calls.  My caller ID only shows 9 digits, not 10 and yes, obnoxious is an even better discription!! Definitely NOT a native of that corner of the world.  (I've never seen a native of India just be rude)

Somebody lock that b*****d up. I am tired of the threats and the relentless phone calls. The last time I called he said he worked at a law firm. BULL !!!  Someone let me know if there is anything I can do to make him stop !

That as***** !!! He is rude ! I called him back 10 times today. He said he would find me and kill me. He hasn't even said why and for what he is caling about. I don't let him get that far. If there is someone I can call to get this guy locked up, someone let me know. I would be glad to help. (one of the times I called him he said he worked for a law firm)

I called the Anaheim police and the Santa Anna court system
and have found out this is a scam. Don't give them
anything. They hacked and got some of ur info
by an application, resume or hacking another site
you've uploaded ur info too.
I called them on it and the guy is talking in Indian (hirdu)
I called him 33 times they told me they will kill me
and any family I have if I call them back. Now they deny calling me
and say I owe them nothing.

I got a call from them too, I think it's associated with the 206-336-xxxx numbers. These guys threatened me saying a lawsuit had been brought against me, and when I questioned about it the company, he didn't have any information. I then told him I was going to report him to the BBB, and to never call me again, of course, he called right back. I'm going to find out who handles stuff like this, and report them to whoever that is.

It's a scam. They got my info off the Internet. I called them back so much they threatens to kill me.
It's an Indian guy who keeps changing his voice.
Finaly I messed with him and asked how much I owe and to whom.
He said I owe the federal legislation $1200 and he
could take the payment by visa or MasterCard. Lol
I will keep calling harrasing them now.

The caller leaves the name of Andy Davis but does not leave a company reference.  The voice is somewhat distorted but somewhat threatening.  I refuse to return until I know who this is.
