it is a credit card scam; dont give them your credit card number... they try to get me to!!!

these jerks called about lowering card rate but i have no cards i use then one jerk got smart ain i gave him hell and he hung up

does anyone know how to stop getting those calls? they have been calling since Monday (3 days already)

They called my cell phone, obviously unlisted. I've recieved three or four calls over the past few months. It is a complete invasion of my privacy.

Got a call from this number today, they said they could reduce my CC interests rate and asked me for my account numbers.
Beware its a scam and after calling my CC co. they turned me over to the fraud dept.

Same as above, automated call (pretending to be a person named Rachel) about lowering credit card interest rates. I hung up after it said "interest rates." I will be reporting them to the Do Not Call complaints site.

I got a call from them as well just now, i didnt answer but they didnt leave a message, just silence

Received a call on 16 Sep 09 from this number and, from the pre-recorded msg, these slugs moved on from "car warranty" to ...."call so you can get a reduce interest rate on your credit card".....". These people are evil.

Call them back and press 1 to get off their list.

I had an automated call about lowering my credit card interest rates to 6.9%... knew it was a scam intantaneously and hung up. I might save it in my phone as "Do not answer."

I just got a call from then telling me that it was my credit card company and that if I press 1 they will lower my interest rate.

Dude called my cell phone. California area code, but calling me in Orlando.
Offer was to help w/credit cards... that I don't have accounts with.

He mumbled his name, I pressed(politely) and he said something like emanuel. I asked a # of times where he was calling from. I was curious about the weather and might be traveling there soon. Ulitmately he claimed he was calling from Florida ,,., and then finally, Tallahassee..... SO I ASKED, "WHAT'S THE AREA CODE OF TALLAHASSEE"
he didn't know.

I completely agree with you. Unfortunately I couldn't pick up the phone, but I googled the number and got this website. Anyways, they called me and I don't even own any type of vehicle. So the funny thing is why call someone who doesn't even own a vehicle?

See this is why I don't bother answering phone calls from strange numbers. I honestly think that people should start screwing with these people. Act like you're criminally insane! Do the old Pulp Fiction move, 'are you calling me from a cell phone? I don't know you, I'm hanging up the phone.' These people deserve to be screwed with. And whoever made it okay for these sgaf (read it backwards) to call OUR cell phones, and waste OUR minutes; they need a good scare!

Anything to scare them off. Be original.. or try to get them to reveal information about themselves. So much fun is to be had with these people! Ask if this is the number for those hardcore teen onrop (again read it backwards) that you've been dying to see. Hard to do with a straight face, but it's more fun when they think you're serious!
