Ditto about the Gina Miller message. My caller ID read CELL PHONE, CA -- 714-607-5751 and then gave a 1-800 to return the call as it was imperative. I've reported it to the Do Not Call website.

I got a call on my cell phone from 714-607-5710.  I'm going to assume that this is connected to this other scam number and ignore.

This guy who barely speaks English and can't even pronounce my name called me yesterday and was trying to offer me $500 in free groceries because my "Home" phone number has entitled me to it. First off, I don't have a home phone #. Secondly, I told him to take me off his calling list. Well, about 1/2 hour ago the same guy called me again. I did a reverse look-up on the number and all I could gather is that the number if from Anaheim, CA. Called back the number and got a recording that tells me to press 1 to be removed from the call list. Also figured out that the numbers (714) 607-5700 through (714) 607-5799 are all registered to the same company.

A recording called me at 1:36pm EST on Jan.29, 2009 and I hung up on them when they said something about "credit card".  My caller ID showed the phone number as "1-714-607-5769" and the name as "Cell Phone  CA".  So, I assume the call came from California. NEVER GIVE ANY INFO AT ALL TO PEOPLE WHO CALL YOU !!!!

Someone called today at abut 3:30 PM.  The display on Caller ID says AcceptanceCo (an organization that I have never heard of).  Left no message.

got a call this afternoon at 2:30p.m. central time. I did not answer and no message was left.  Seems after reading some of the other messages regarding this number, they are not what they seem.  Glad I did not answer the phone.

Just another one, when my call came in on a Sunday afternoon at 5:08 PM (APR 27, 2008). No collector or debt counselor can call on a Sunday...Period. Gina Miller made the same statements as above onto my answering machine. Caller ID was 714-607-5751 with an 800-717-0189 return call number which when called said all operators were unavailiable and leave a message and the immediately hung up. THIS HAS SCAM WRITTEN ALL OVER IT. How do I know. I have no credit cards at all!!!

Received one of these calls with the "imperative" message that I call back regarding my "minimum payments".  Decided to search for "Acceptance Corporation" before doing anything.  Glad I did.  I will not call back.  Thanks!

When I did a reverse phone lookup, I got results stating that the number was unlisted.  A further click to Intelius stated that it was a cell phone number.

Call from Gina Miller w/Consumer Acceptance Corp. She said that I needed to call back as soon as possible about lowering my debt and she made it sound like she knew what my credit card balance is.
I called a few days later and asked to speak to a supervisor.  The first 2 people hung up on me.  The third insisted she could not transfer me unless I gave her my name and debt amount.  When I refused she hung up.

Even though I don't have a credit card and am not in debt, a message from this number states that I must call about my credit card debt.  They called again and left no message.

Recorded message said something about being from the 'credit card company' and that I'm eligible for a lower interest rate than I'm currently paying. (Really? I don't have any credit cards. Zero.)

Is there really anybody still out there who would actually give these people their credit card information after they identified themselves as being from 'the credit card company'? Wow.

And how insulting is it that they really think we'll tell them that kind of stuff?

Gina miller at Consumer Acceptance Corporation, 800-717-0189, left a voicemail saying that the minimum on my credit card has risen and that it was "imperative" that I gave her a call. Whatever.

THEY SAY "PLEASE PRESS ONE TO TALK TO A REPRESENTATIVE" SO I PRESSED "ONE" AND ASKED TO REMOVE OUR NUMBER, THEY HANG UP ON ME THREE TIMES.
I TRIED TO CALL THEM BACK USING THIS NUMBER, HOWEVER THIS NUMBER WAS NOT IN USE....

I got a call from this number for free satellite and the recording says to press 1 to talk to a live person.  Don't press anything, just hang up and report the scum.  If this number is with Digitcom Services, Inc. then watch out for these numbers as well:

909-842-8166 (with a Digitcom service in Canada), 818-812-7998, 800-710-4895, 714-607-5770, 800-709-8793, 909-842-8166, 818-870-5032, 562-288-7191, 978-570-2304, 213-710-8154, 213-710-8151, 702-520-1396, 408-651-8146, 562-289-8142, 909-812-7998, and 262-228-5809.  There's some reports for all of these numbers and they all say basically the same thing that you guys are saying.  They may or may not be the same people but just watch out.

I called this number back multiple times, and got hung up on the first couple of times, then the last time I called, someone answered claiming to be from a debt relieve company. What the heck, 15 minutes ago, the numbe was for a satelite company. I agreed w/ a post earlier and thought it'd be funny if I played around w/ them!

Got a call from this number claiming to have specials for satelite. I spoke w/ cust. ser. rep and asked to be removed from the calling list. She told me to hold, but instead hung up on me.

what was the 800 number you called, if you remember? i can't stand these calls anymore! day and night. i'd really appreciate it :)

Left automated messages twice.  One on Saturday, and yes, these jack***es called the next day on Sunday.

I called the 800 number and asked if I had a credit card or loan with them.  They hung up.  I tried several more times.  Again they hung up.  I finally decided to play along to see what was going on.  I asked another question just before being trasfered to a supervisor.  I was hung up on again.  Then the supervisor called me back from a foreign phone number +01961211.  I don't know where that is, but I don't whoever it is to have my personal info.  It's scary that someone would fall for this.

This company sounds extremely shady.  I received a cold call from the following number (714)607-5751 with the following statement on my answering machine"  "This is Gina Miller with Consumer Acceptance Corporation at 800 717-0189.  I'm calling regarding your credit card balances and the minimum payments that are going up.  It's imperative that you call me back.  You now qualify for debt reduction allowance program. Again my name is Gina Miller and my number is 800 717 0189. And it is imperative that you give me a call."

I called to check into this thinking that it was possibly connected with one of my credit cards.  It is weird when you call.  The people do not identify the name of the company.  If you ask a question that they do not like, they hang up on you.  I called several times to ask if I had a loan with them.  They would not answer my question and would hang up on me.  It sounds like a scam that needs to be investigated.  I reported it to the FTC and will report it to any other investigative agency I can think of including my state's Attorney General's office.

Numerous automated calls advertising satellite service and debt consolidation.  Hung up on me once when trying to transfer to a rep, after calling back a few times and asking what company they were/about a DNC list I was hung up on, had the phone/headset sat down while the rep conversed with someone else about personal business, and was sworn at in broken English.  Priceless. :)

I get calls, every day, from different numbers, that claim to be for a consumer debt service.  I called the number they provided in the unsolicited phone call.  The number they asked me to call is 800-717-0189.  I called 4 times and was asked if I wanted to speak about debt reduction.  I 3 times asked to be removed from their calling list, but was hung up on.  In the 4th call I stated I would like info, thinking, stupidly, that I'd be transferred to a different agent.  The agent launched into a seemingly detailed sales pitch.  I cut him off, asking to be removed from the calling list.  He too hung up on me.  I have received calls, every day, from different numbers, but all of which refer me to a toll free number to attain this "Service."  In their recorded calls on my answering machine it is ALWAYS stated as "Imperative that you call..."  This is a same message they employ each time.  I find it difficult to understand how, all of a sudden, I am receiving calls like this, every one of which offers the same service, yet the company names are different.  This is all the odder since I have no debt.

they called this morning at 6:55 am Arizona time. I told them what time it was and they didn't seem to understand.  I explained that Arizona was not on Daylight savings time and therefore doesn't change time with the rest of the US.  They just kept repeating, "6:55?"

These people are so irritating & call on both of our land lines. Both numbers are on the Do Not Call list. I've reported them to the Feds, but it doesn't seem to dissuade these jerks at all!

This number has called multiple times with a pre-recording claiming to either offer debt reduction services OR free satellite service. I went through their recording and asked to be removed from their list and was hung up on. I called back, asking to be removed from their list and was again hung up on. I searched online and found that this number comes from a telephone services company, Digitcom Services, Inc. - so this is more than likely a scam as this company probably sells phone number to any 'ol who.

I called back and the woman on the phone asked if I was interested in debt reduction - I said no, I was calling about the message left about the
satellite service. She seems caught off guard and said that they were in the office next door. I asked if they used the same number and she said
no, they were in the office next door. I told her I had just called the number back that had called me - she had no explanation. I asked the name of the satellite company - she said Direct. I asked the name of the debt reduction company - she said Orion Credit. I asked for the satellite company number and she said that she'd have them call me back. I asked for an address and she hung up.

Please report them - not only to get them to stop bugging you, but also to save those individuals that would fall for this.
