Called today but did not leave a message. Pretty sure its a telemarketer.

I have done the same thing. I told them that I have a 1984 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Truck with 250,000 miles on it, The engine has recently been rebuilt, and transmission replaced. The Rep, who mumbled his name and would not repeat himself, informed me that "my" vehicle did not qualify, and immediately hung up on me. The next day I got yet ANOTHER call from them. This time I had a little fun. I politely told the rep that I would like him to call me back at my house phone so that I can reserve my cell minutes. He says "please confirm that you would like me to call you back." He then repeats the number. I repeated myself, followed by "this is my confirmation that I want you to call me back" He cut me off saying "I am recording this call" and hung up immediately. Little did he know that I just gave him a phone number to "Telemarketer's nightmare" hotline. Rejectionhotline.com has a number of of phone numbers that you can give to telemarketers, folks that you don't want to give your number to, so on and so forth. The number that I provided the rep was 973-474-9051

I got the same car warranty call last week. I knew they'd keep calling back if I hung up on them so I tried another tactic. I told them I was interested in the warranty. They asked about my car. I lied and told them it was an '85 Toyota Corolla with 185,000 miles on it. I told them it had smoke coming out the back.
They told me the car was ineligible for the warranty. They didn't ask for additional info and I haven't heard from them since. If they do ask for your name or address just make something up - fake name and an address you know doesn't exist (it's not polite to give them your neighbor's name and address even if they have loud dogs that wake you up in the middle of the night).

Are you that guy from the Truman Show who sits in his tub all day long? Maybe you should ignore the phone while in the tub - or switch to showers.

Got a call on 5/4/09 at 0930 a.m. during work hours. this is not the first time I got a call from this nmuber, so I did not pick up. It is annoying though to receive these calls, especially on the cell phone.

I have been getting these on my company cell phones, my office phones and my personal land line and my wifes work cell phone. So I also decieded to screw with them after I told them to remove my number and they hung up on me. So I started the trail of being Mr Bop Up at Kissamee, Aska, if you say it in an accent the whole time they want to sell you something, I told them I have a 1978 BMW that I would like to reinstate my warranty and they never last too long before they hang up, I tell them I have 4 cars I have bought recently and want to make sure " I Have Warrntee Fur Alda Dem" These people are bottom feeders so they can feed off my bottom as far as I am concern.
The calls have come from these following so called caller ID numbers, which obvious is bullcrap
