This is the third time they have tried to pull this scam on me. Contacting the Better Business Bureaus isn't doing anything (they just grab a different business license in a different state.)

IF YOU WANT SOMETHING TO HAPPEN TO THESE PEOPLE YOU SHOULD DO WHAT I DID:

Call the hotel/casino who's name they are using and ask for the LEGAL or MANAGEMENT department and tell them what is going on and refer them to the web pages about these numbers here!

They are the one's who are having their business name dragged through the mud by these scammers and they are the ones that can do something about it (SUE THEM!)

Please, if you want to stop these guys, you must file on-line or off-line with the Better Business Bureau (http://www.seflorida.bbb.org/BusinessReport.aspx?CompanyID=9002124 or http://www.seflorida.bbb.org/BusinessReport.aspx?CompanyID=92012243) and then with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (http://app1.800helpfla.com/cswebcomplaints/FileComplaint.aspx license number ST36484). I have been investigating these companies and have acquired a lot of information on them. They seem to know how the BBB works and appear to constantly work on getting their rating above F. I have watched their rating change as many as 5 times in one day. Adding your complaint to the BBB may help slow them down. They may insist on handling it outside of BBB, but I would keep it inside of the BBB so they can see what these companies are doing.
The second thing these companies seem to be doing, is pursuing new groups of innocent victims. I have had all of the contacts from these companies listed here contact me demanding payment. They have already accused me of acting fraudulently and told me that I would be turned into collections back in November. I think they know they can get into trouble by submitting these things to collections, because they still haven?t submitted my so called account to anyone.
I think it is so sad that so many people are paying off these companies and hope others will help fight back and aid the authorities in shutting them down. If you need any help contact me at flintwindsor@gmail.com.

On January 7th, 2009 at 10:09 pm D Jones said Lawsuit and BBB my butt; they?re crooks. I cribbed the below statute from a Cornell Univ. website; sounds like it fits. Also, the FBI website (fbi.gov) says they?re very interested in such things:

US Code Title 18.1343. Fraud by wire, radio, or television

Whoever, having devised or intending to devise any scheme or artifice to defraud, or for obtaining money or property by means of false or fraudulent pretenses, representations, or promises, transmits or causes to be transmitted by means of wire, radio, or television communication in interstate or foreign commerce, any writings, signs, signals, pictures, or sounds for the purpose of executing such scheme or artifice, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than 20 years, or both. If the violation affects a financial institution, such person shall be fined not more than $1,000,000 or imprisoned not more than 30 years, or both.

On January 9th, 2009 at 6:46 pm flintwindsor said Hooray, It?s working, the BBB is finally wise to these guys and posted the following today! on their BBB site, I guess Chris Greene and his buddies are going to have to threaten to sue the BBB now, they have threatened everybody else.

I just got a phone call today, December 17, 2008, from someone claiming to be Doctor Christopher Green, the owner of First Class Travel Wise.  He confirmed that a Shawn Cole does work there and also confirmed the company address.  He claimed that I had slandered his company by posting the earlier message.  He threatened to file a complaint against me with the Texas Bar Association.  He denied that anyone at his company ever threatened my client with jail time.  He was rude and very pushy.  I told him that if he wanted to try to collect money from my client then he should send his demand to me, but he seemed much less interested in collecting a debt than in trying to scare me into taking down what I had posted here.  He claims that his company is filing a lawsuit against this website for slander and defamation.

Looks like posting here has gotten their attention and they do not like the publicity.  Given this man's attitude I suspectt that he is used to bad publicity.

Text from and email I sent a Cousin:  Some clown got a hold of the booking list or whatever for the place where Ralph's son got married 5 years ago in Vegas.  He called me and wanted to verify that I had stayed there, because I hadn't fulfilled the terms of my reservation, which included taking a tour of some time share place or similar crap.  I denied ever staying in Vegas in Oct 03, which made him mad, because I had made a reservation, and he had enough info from the reservation to know my name phone #, last 4 digits of the credit card, where I was staying, and the dates.  What he didn't know from whatever he had was that my truck broke down at Barstow, and I got a full refund, thanks to Nora.  The last thing he said was he'd see me in court.  I told him, "Go ahead, big man", and disconnected.

Anyway, the whole thing is a scam.  I looked on the internet and found where criminals are calling folks from the reservation lists they've got and are demanding people pay over $400 for failing to go on a tour.

Just thought I'd let you know in case any one else at the wedding hears from this a***ole or one like him.

The number they called us from was 216-759-4482.We received the same phone call, and denied it all. The fact they wouldn't send a bill or documentation was a red flag.  It was believable and frightening since they had all our information.  We filed complaints with every agency we could. We could not find record of the dates they said we stayed in Las Vegas, so wrote to the hotel for help.  The hotel verified that the trip actually happened a YEAR before Travel Wise told us, and the reservation was paid thru Leisure Time Travel.  The Riviera thinks that someone may have confiscated some information from the Travel Time data base.  They suggest contacting your local district attorney or scam dept. to file formal complaints.  FILE COMPLAINTS--THIS IS A SCAM!

I am an attorney in Austin, TX.  www.williamgammon.com

A client of mine got a call from this number December 15.  The caller claimed that she owed money from a bill at the Imperial Palace in Las Vegas for a trip she took there in 2003.  He claimed that his name is Shawn Cole.  He was beyond rude.  He threatened my client with jail time.  This is a violation of Texas and federal debt collection statutes.  The toll free number for this company is 1-877-948-8900, but don't expect Mr. Cole to answer the phone.  The person with whom I spoke claimed to be named Michelle and said that their address is 8227 W. Atlantic Blvd., Coral Springs, FL 33071.  I left my name and phone number but haven't gotten a return call from anyone there, much less Shawn Cole.

Got a call from the same number at 10 est on 12/12/8--same crap--saying I didn't take a tour--I never got to an amount, because I denied all allegations--what the idiot didn't know is that I had canceled my reservation, and the amount was fully credited back to my cc--I'd planned on attending a wedding at the Royal Resort and Casino in Vegas and had made the reservation through a Vegas reservation agency, maybe Vegas.com

Folks using this cell phone are just the latest to buy a purloined list of hotel guests.

I just recieved a call from this number saying that i owed them $433.88 becuase i did not show to a time share tour. The first time they called the i could not hear the person on the other line and it was loud. The second time they called they were rude. The calls happened with in moments. they said they were "first class travel" and they are located in FT.lauderdale FL. But when you search the number it shows up to be that ther number is coming from california.
They tried to tell me that i signed up for a time share over the internet and at the time i didnt have it.Then they said i did it over the phone, but to get a time share you have to be married and have a shared credt card and i had niether of those.

They tried to send us there rules and reg. but they are for a cruise, not a time share.
