These guys are real scumbags! If you answer and sound like you are under 50 years old and have no patience, they will hang up. If you answer and sound like a senile old person, they will immediately start their rant. Also, as in the past, they ring every phone on the block at the same time in hopes of scheduling their suckers in a geographically efficient manner. As stated above, they change their name occasionally and also call from (714) 660-7710.

UNKNOWN NAME and disconnected

Any ideas on how to tell these guys to die? I mean, I know it is their job, but at once when my father told the man to call him in a year for future work, he calls again, and yeah: I too think the guy is some kind of scammer because I heard people in the background talking, and each time before he starts talking I hear a funny squeaky sound as if a machine turns on before he talks. I told him off, but just now he calls. Once he mentions how he wants to show my old man his bank account-to prove that he is someone with good finances??? What the hell is that all bout? Oh yeah and he never said his company name, but I assume it is the same one mentioned around the beginning of this forum for living in the OC myself. I'm not all that bad, really if nothing i'm super nice to people like this. Well if they are scammers maybe I should just tell them to get lost and never call again. But yeah, thanks for letting me put this stuff in the forum. I wish I had called ID.

Called again today twice and when  I refused there service proceded to start hollaring in a foreign tongue and I'm sure the word's were not complimentary.

This telemarketer has been calling me since at least April 2012.  I used to answer the phone and tell him to quit calling and take me off their list.  Since 2012 I don't answer anymore.  He says the company is Clear View but he is using other names too I see by the notes online.  When I asked his name he was flustered and then said "Ed Schultz".  Obviously this is another lie. I put him on the DNC list, the FCC and police.  They're all a waste of time. Someone said the police are too busy handing out seat belt tickets.  I agree with that.  Also, they shoot 95 year old men and the mentally ill.

This number calls constantly, and I too have asked to be removed from their call list.  I did determine the number is serviced by a phone carrier called BANDWIDTH.COM, and their contact info via email is:  http://bandwidth.com/about/contact/   Perhaps an email indicating that we will file an FCC/PUC complaint for harrassment will stop them?  Just a thought...

Woke me up by calling before 9:00am.  Daphne M kept asking how I was, and acted like I knew her.  When I said i don't know who you are, she hung up.  I guess she will eventually find a senior citizen who's lonely and confused and manage to take his/her money.  Not clear what the scam of the day was.

Construction co looking for leads

Keep getting calls stating we told them last year to call this year to get some work done on our house. There have been several of this same person calling. We are on do not call list.

I checked this number out yesterday when they called me (I didn't answer). When I found out about their scam, I saved the number as "Home Repair Scam". Today, they called again! I answered and listened to her "Yes, we called you about 9 months ago about home repairs..." script, then I started talking and faked choking up. I told her I'd lost my house and was living in my car. I feigned crying and she acted very sorry for me and told me she'd take me off their list.

Problem solved.

I am so sick of these calls.  You call back the number and it states it's not a working number.  These calls need to stop. These ppl are predators!!!!

They have called two or three times today.  You cannot get off their list.

Called on my landline and hung up when I answered. Probably the same creeps who call all the time and say I told them to call back.  I repeatedly tell them to remove me from the list, but they don't do it.

This man calls me everyday.  Tells me he is the owner, then reprimands me for telling him to stop calling. He is not the owner

This number calls me every day saying I ask them to call back.  I never ask a telemarketer to call back.  I played along this time.  I ask all kinds of questions.  Made her describe the work in detail that we had talked about - especially the driveway that we had discussed before.  Then I told I lived in a condo and didn't even have a driveway.  Can you believe this - she went off on me.  Yelling about how rude I was to waste her time and what a terrible person I was and didn't I have anything better to do.  Told her NO I'M TOO BUSY ANSWERING your phone calls when I keep telling you to put me on your do not call list. Today it's only 10:00 AM and they have already called me twice.

Getting calls from 714-660-7722 EVERY DAY!  The Home Center is the company.  Most likely a scam.  I am on the DNC list, and have repeatedly told this company to stop calling.  No luck!
