Woah! I have t-mobile too. And have been getting several texts like this lately.
hmmmm.

I got the same message from the same number and different numbers supposedly from JP Morgan Chase for my debit card number starting with "511182XXXX ". I don't have a debit card from chase, so I know it's bogus. My cell phone carrier is also T-Mobile. So the spammers probably hacked t-mobile database to get the cell phone numbers. I wish I could stop incoming text messages because each one is costing me 5 cents.

The phone number 714-661-5543 no longer answers.
From some of your comments, it seems the text message was sent via email to a SMS gateway which is how it showed up as a text on your phone. The people at the phone number listed might have not known anything about it, especially if that extension is unused, as an earlier post hinted at.

i googled the number- got the website. called extensions 100-107 all voicemail except 105. so i googled the address. here are many companies at the address (office building.) i spoke to a gentleman at Jbn Color Printing in unit M (lite360 is unit L) he says lite360 is out of business a year and a half. someone is paying the phonebill.

Do you all have T-Mobile????
I'm even thinking of changing phone company!
I don't have free txt message, so the whole family is paying for each of these bogus messages....
| lala 2010-08-11 23:09:33 Unknown |
I was wondering the same! My husband and I are also getting these messages and we do have T-Mobile!!
I don't seem to see a complain from another company...
Strange!!

Just received the same text message as well. Just going to delete. I think it's ridiculous that nobody can stop these types of text messages. I was getting other ones last week, also claiming to be from Chase about my credit account being frozen. I don't have any account starting with these numbers...even more ridiculous...I WORK FOR JP MORGAN CHASE!!!!
