Appears to be a scam call

Fast forward to May 2014. Guy on the line told me he had talked to me a while back and I instructed him to call today to do work around my home. Lies. I hung up on him and this number is blocked now.

They called our house twice so far this morning.  Both times, they waited for me to say hello a few times...and then they hung up.  Maybe they are hoping to hear an elderly voice, like some of the other folks above mentioned about.  Very bizarre..

My elderly grandmother gets calls from this number and three or four other numbers as well.  We think  they are connected to the same scam (home improvement).  They completely harrass her.  The calls have been going on for close to a year now.  They yell at her and say her husband owes them money - they refer to him by a name he never used, so we know it's coming off of a list they got their hands on.  In the first calls she received earlier this year, they claim to have talked to her husband 'a year ago' about "home design" work and are "following up."  He passed away 16 years ago.  The evil of these people has no bounds.  I wonder how they would like it if someone called and terrorized their elderly loved ones.  Pure evil !!!  She's a really sweet old lady, please just leave her alone.

This number called; left no message.  I did not pick up

Same as above.  Never voice on the line then hangs up after a delay.  Caller ID says, 'Unknown.'  Obvious scammer.

Please note, these folks called to sell something.  When I advised them that we're on the no call list and to take us off their list the jerk said, "I don't give a f***".    Ridiculous that we can't even have a little privacy in our own homes any more.

I answered the phone- there was a delay- said ahello a few times before someone came on line asking to speak to "Lori"- I asked "Who is this", and snotty woman said "Who is this?" and hung up on me.   Why do I receive these calls when i am on the DO NOT CALL list?

Called on my business line. I said "hello" several times. No one there.

Received a call at 9:17AM on May 11, 2012 from 714-674-3373.  Said hello 3 times, no answer, then a hang-up.

Called.  I said hello several times.  No reply.  Clearly a telemarketer.

I get this sort of thing all the time from all kinds of different #'s.  Just like the rest they call just to hear my voice it does something to them all of them things I cannot mention in the slightest at least not on this public source where others will be subjected to the perverseness contained herein. Then  they/you will start doin it too.  Perverts! I now who you are.  I can't say that I blame them though if  I were not me I   would be doing the exact same thing it just can't be helped so take comfort in knowing when you get a prank call from  this  #  they are really calling for me you can give them my # and they will most defiantly never call you again the  rest of their days will be spent dreamily calling me.  It does get quite bothersome at times so I  keep in mind that  now they cannot help or control themselves against it over time they will Begin  to inject sound samples of my voice directly into  their veins.  It's just my cross to bear. 562 231 7069

Keep getting calls from that number, don't want them to call me any longer. They don't leave a message.

Same as above message, when I answered no one was there.

Just got a call from this number right now.   Picked up and no one was on the other end.

They called several times and never answer...tried calling back but just gets a busy tone.  Is this a scam???

Telemarketing call. When I asked whether or not he checked the do not call list, he said have a nice day and hung up.

They called here.  Asked to speak with Christopher which means my name came off a list.  Had the usual delay of a telemarketing system before someone came on.  Didn't wait to hear the spiel.
