Yes I too have gotten a rather disturbing call from a young lad who stated they found me and I was going to go to jail and they needed my attorneys phone number, they find you by whichever application you submit online for, this one was for autofunding.  I told the little b*****d first off if he thinks he is calling to collect a debt, then he is breaking the law.  Professional collectors can not tell you they are suing you and putting you in Jail, can not threaten you and cannot use abusive language, it is against the Fair Debt Act, plain and simple.  Next I have a James Brown ringing me & then my employer for information, fortunantly the employer can not give personal info out either, it too is against the law.  But Ive been waiting for a visit or such and have not heard back from the American Law Associates 714-677-2606.  They certainly break the law and step over the line, if they indeed are truely some type of debt collections agency they are not legit.  Nice to see others here have come across the rotten scoundrels.
If that is also truely an attorney; soon he will be disbarred.

Got a call from a James Brown but couldn't understand the company name. I have had several calls from scam artists who leave the same message. I think they are reading from a script. I don't answer the phone if I don't know the number and listen to the message that they leave. I write everything down and report to my attorney general. After a while they stop.

hello. my name is charles by name and i have had the same issues with people calling me telling me that they are from american law associates... after a while i got verry annoyed by there relentless calls time after time back to back on my business phone so i did some research online on some data bases and found there phone company that they have service with and called them up to report them as a fruadulent callers one of the numbers is ( 714) 677-2606  - the other is (619) 819-2880...... but little did they know they called and messed with the wrong person... i have alot of expericence in computers and know how to come up with something out of nothing... i have my own computer repair business and i work for the federal government....  my purpose is to help those who get these type of phone calls and find out who they are who they work for , phone company they have ect, ect, if you would like me to help you put the calls to an end i will provide you with my email address so you or anyone who needs help can ask me questions on how to find out something and i will reply to you and do the research for you and let you know what i come up with.... this is no game that i am on here for ... i am just a person who is making a change and putting those people who call people up and pretends to be a legitiment company and ask for personal information from people and use it to fruad them ......... if you want the help my email is   choosey37@gmail.com...... only serious people please... do not play on my email or send any king of graffic material.... hope to here from you soon so i could be of some help to you... have a great day ... god bless

I received a call today from American Law Associates on my cell phone.  This is not the first time I have received this same message, you or your attorney of record needs to call my office in regard to a lawsuit filed against you.  The callers name was Eric Williams (middle eastern descent).  I have received them from women as well, but they would never say the company's name.

Calling me and my employer saying internet fraud and we can all go to jail.  Very hard to understand due to acsent.  Will not give any proof for their claim because they claim it was already sent.  Claim they sent emails, but never received.

I received 9 calls from this company Saturday within 5 mins. They called from 4 different numbers in 5 mins. Here are the numbers:

I just got a call from a John. I couldn't understand him enough to get his last name. He said that their is a pending investigation against me and I needed to call back with a reference number. He said that I need to not disregard the message and he hopes I call back or have my lawyer call back to stop legal action against me. He called my cell phone and work my number.

Just got a harrassing phone call about how Im going to jail and spending time behind bars!  Is there someone I can report this issue to?  Called me at work!

So this # has called my work more than 65 times saying I owe them money. The guy (David Warner-sounded middle eastern), went into a rant about the USA and Obamma how stupid americans are and so forth. This was a hillarious 20 minutes of going back and forth all he knew what to say was Bit**. I gave him such a hard time with funny and hillarious comebacks. It was pure comedy. I think I might of almost made him cry out of frustration. Finally my manager gave them a awesome tongue lashing and told them we had contacted the FBI. Obviously this was a call from overseas. They have yet to call back.

Found this solution on another web regarding this SCAM -- they reported their phone ## to Craig's list under a personal ad.  According to person who posted this solution--it turned the tables on this provider and they were overwhelmed by phone calls that they agreed to stop calling and harrassing this person and they actually admitted to him that they were a scam but "it was just a job"

I have had several phone calls from this company.  They have harassment by calling my place of employment with deragotory remarks to a co-worker as well as myself.  I had a very hard time communicating due to language barrier. They have use several alias names. Unfortuntely I did something not in my character my signing documents so that I could stop the phone calls and harassments.

Message from Mark Lincoln--American Law offices--threaten that someone will come to my house and arrest me--legal action has been filed.  He could not pronounce my street name or city--had last four digits of SSN wrong.  Wants me to call him as soon as I receive this message.  
This is a SCAM, SCAM, SCAM--will not be returning his call but will report him to local authorities, FTC etc.

James Brown has called me a number of times. Would not tell me company's. He continues to call and Haress me all time and continues to threaten's me.
