A sales rep from "LD Financial" (assuming it's Lenders Direct Financial based in Southern California) called from this number. She said it was in reponse to an advertisment text I had gotten earlier that day from a 310 area code, and she asked if my mortgage was too high. It was an ad to lower my mortgage rate. I said, "Yes, when I got the text, I asked to be called back to get in touch with someone who can reimburse me for the text and also remove me from the marketing list." I'm on the Do Not Call List, so I shouldn't be contacted in the first place. She hung up!!! I called Lenders Direct Financial's corporate office. The owner of the company denied that it was his company that made the call. I told him about the text and then the follow-up call, and he said they don't send texts "anymore." FYI, there is only one LD Financial in Southern California that is is the mortgage business.... I'll be keeping my eye out. If anyone has more info, please post. I would love to get ahold of whoever is responsible.

Got the call too, when called back, its disconnected, and no voicemail left by it
