Got a call from 1-714-705-0257 noon on fri. 3/7/14. Machine picked
up on 3rd ring, and no one there. We got new portable house phones
with option to block call. If we get suspicious call, I look it up and see
it is one of these, and then block call. It sure saves a lot of aggravation.

Clearly a telemarketer - asked for "the owner".  Anyone who calls and asks for the owner is not going to get him on the phone!  Declined to leave a message (of course) and hung up.  Ok, that's their one shot to get us to pick up the phone.  I simply logged into our google voice account and blocked their number.  If they attempt to call back, they will get a 'this phone number is not in service' message.  Google voice is free and so is youmail, a voice mail service I use for my cell phone.  Both services also maintain a database of known spammers and scammers, so they actually filter out some of the crap before they even get a first call in to you.  There are other free phone and voice mail services, and virtually every phone service provider has a block feature on their web site, just log on and use it!  We don't buy from any firm that uses telemarketing as a form of advertising, or other methods that waste my time.  I always post a report, with info on how to simply and completely shut down telemarketers.  If everyone would simply report and block them, their entire industry would be defunct within weeks.  

Your telemarketers/scammers don't control this site and no one here can remove your number from any database. However, I have flagged your post for the admin to remove so that your phone number - posted here for all and sundry to see - won't be added to any more lists.

Navigator driving academy is requesting  our number [ removed] be taking off your call list. If not a FCC complaint will be filed.

They called 2 diff times today w two diff biz names they were.

Each time asked for owner. The Newport beach asked for owner to speak w her. I said its a man an asked for her number. She hung up.
Second garden grove called n wanted owner I said he isn't available in this line do u have a diff number. He said yea bi*** n hung up befor I could ask for manager. U can hear tons of people in the background saying the same stuff.

Ignore numbers u don't know or let them go to voicemail. If its a real call they will leave a message.
Wasting company time with this s***.

Telling them te person they asking for cant get personal calls at this work number don't help either.

These people are rude, they called my office aand the gentleman who called was very rude and was asking for owner I asked whos calling and then they hanged up. unprofessional they are .

Called me this morning, asked for 'the owner' I said 'I am the owner' then I asked 'is this a sales call?'  The gal said 'uh YEAH' then hung up on me. What a way to get new customers, yes???  LOL.

This is a company that is trying to come across as google, but they are not google. They want to build a website and supposedly make my website better for searches.
Companies: Have you not figured out that I would not do business with someone like you in a thousand years even if you were the only company on earth that offered such a service?

Use a loud noise - bullhorn, siren, high-pitched scream, whatever you've got to make loud noise with
Ask for their phone number...when they say they will call back tell them not to bother...every time they call back ask stupid questions...do you like macaroni & cheese?  are you a smurf?  etc...
Tell them to hang on for a moment...the FBI is breaking down the neighbor's (or your) door...
Be creative and have fun...at least you'll get a laugh out of it!

Got a call as well. Looked them up. Their company is Nationwide Business Resources.

This company calles all the time. They just hang up on you and don't let you get a word in edge wise. Karma will come back on these poor excuses for humans 10 fold so don't worry people. Very annoying though with their repeated harassment...

THEY CALLED FOR ONE OF THE OWNER AND ASKED FOR THEM BY THEIR FIRST NAME. THE OTHER GUY THAT WORKS HERE PUT THE GUY ON HOLD THINKING THE CALL WAS FOR ME. SO I PICKED UP AND TOLD THE GUY TO HOLD ON A SEC. ILL BE WITH HIM IN A SEC I WAS ON THE OTHER LINE WITH A CUSTOMER, THINKING I WOULD RECOGNIZE HIS OR HER VOICE. WHEN I DIDNT I ASKED WHO ARE YOU HOLDING FOR? HE ANSWERED IN A RUDE TONE IM HOLDING FOR BLANK THE OWNERS NAME. SO I TOLD HIM HE WASNT HERE. VERY NOW HE SAYS "IF HES NOT THERE WHY DID YOU PUT ME ON HOLD IF HES NOT THERE, WHY DIDNT YOU TELL ME THIS IN THE FIRST PLACE, C L I C K. HANGS UP ON ME BEFORE I COULD EVEN TELL HIM ANYTHING. THEN AN HOUR GOES BY. SAME GUY CALLS ASK FOR THE OWNER, NOT HERE SIR, CLICK GUY DIDNT EVEN SAY ANYTHING.

If someone calls and asks for the owner without introducing themselves first, that is a sign of an unprofessional company.  Who would do business with these slobs? NOT ME.

1030 today - caller asked for the "owner". When I asked who was calling, he hung up.

this guys are someone calls every month have told 20 times and I dont want your f****ng stickers! I am going to just block there numbers I would love for some one to turn there phones off or erase there phone number database

I have gotten calls from this voice before.  He always wants to sell some type of promotional material, pens, magnets etc.  If you question him he gets rude and hangs up before you can tell him to place you on their do not call list.  They usually start with a joke.  He was cussing at someone else when I answered.  Congress should stop giving away our money and write laws that require a caller ID that we can call back and complain.  When You get this kind of call in the future ask if they have a website to look at their product first.  Then you might have something to use to track them.

I deal with enough crap all day, i sure as heck don't need to be hung up on by these BUCKET Heads.

This guy is so rude.....he asks for owner then gets nasty with you if the owner is not here.....If you ask them not to call they get ruder. I wont answer if I see this number now. I am on a do not call list and they still call. The phone companies need to stand up and do something about this harrassment

This number 714-705-0257 has been HARASSING for the past 4 years! I listened to their sales "shpiel" the first time they called and politely told them I was not interested. Since then, they've been ccalling 5-6 times a week and I've told them NO, do not cll me, I've been nice, then nnot so nice, then blunt and as a lastt resort,  I've cussed them out and told them to go to hell but they keep on calling!!!!

They called me with a fantastic promotion on advertising items; keychains etc. The company that started the slogan "My other car is a Golf Car". Well when I questioned what the bottom line would be in price they beat around the bush and then when I said I would discuss it with the owner they hung up on me. Oh and it did start out with I am julie from NBR. I am brand new so I will give you my supervisor to price items for you. I googled NBR and then the phone number on here and low and behold another bad news company. The good news is I did not do business with them. Blocked the number though I am sure they have many more!

Called to solicit ink pen sales, then hung up rudely when the person they asked for was not available.
