I just received the same basic phone call.  Told me to call back, as the 'atty. handling my case'
was busy on another line.  He also had the last 4 digits of my ss#!  This is very frightening!

I also got a call from this number.  Got a call from a James Miller and was told to call my lawyer Kevin Peterson.  Before I talked to Kevin Peterson I found all of this information online about this whole scam so I called him and was being a complete smartass.  He started to get very aggervated and stated that my phone was breaking up (which wasn't true) and hung up on me.  I then called back and told him we must have accidentally got disconnected, and he stated that I "get a better phone connection and deal with this or I will be arrested" and hung up on me again.  These guys call you off the hook then don't want to deal with the crap that they get themselves into.  This is all a scam.  Don't worry about it.  The only thing to do is just change your bank info (routing and acct number) because I have read where these guys have snuck into ppls bank accounts.  I told my mother what was going on with this situation, and she called them.  Without giving them her or my name, this Kevin Peterson said your son is being sued for some internet bs.  How would he know this without our names?  These guys are full of s*** and I would give anything to see them face to face one day.

Wow, I can't even tell you how relieved I am reading all your comments. I really feel for this. This morning I get a phone call from this number on my cell phone 714-733-5615, didn't answer because I don't answer phone numbers that I don't know, 2 seconds later it calls my job and I work at a bank and my calls are always being recorded. Guy with thick accent says he's with the law office of Jennifer Young, I told him that I will call him back with a different number cause I don't know what this was about, said that their is a law suit against me, if I was aware, Uh...No! And I asked why said will have to speak to Kevin Peterson, so I called back about 20x before I got an answer, said i owed money and if I didn't pay a sheriff was going to come to my job and arrest me or serve me papers, I was trying to talk to him and get information but he was so mean and rude, kept hanging up on my, by this point I was frazzled so I panic and left my job to come home, because that jerk made me so upset I cried LOL, told my fiancé, I asked him to call and he asked to send documents,fax papers etc. Said already being processes, went to attorneys office etc. and hung up again, so I called my lawyer friend and told them what happened, she tried to call and same thing. This mugger f**ker made me leave my job in panic! I believe in Karma, and this guy will get what he deserves for messing with people lives.

I had a miss call on my cell from 714-733-5615 and when I listend to my voicemail. The messge was from a woman (Michelle Lewis) speaking very slowly with an accent (sounded Indian).  She said to call her back or have my attorney return her call or she will not be able to help me in the furture when everything falls on me. I didn't call back, I immediatly looked up on the number because I just received the same type of call from Lee Smith 716-543-7906 and John Black 315-688-5591 last week.  Both of these men had the same heavy Indian accent and told me the same thing that Michelle left on my voicemail, but they also said that they were with the Dept of Law Enforcement and I would be arrested today.  However, last week when it happened the men also called my job and threatened to contact my employer and tell them what a dead beat I am and that I had taken out several PayDay loans (which I have NEVER done), so I called the police and the officer that came out called the 2 men and told them that he was actually with the Police Department, needless to say I haven't received anymore calls from them - now here we go again.  The only thing different I'm doing this time is NOT returning the call.  THIS IS A SCAM!!!! and my suggestion to any and everyone out there DON'T GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION AND APPLY FOR IDENTITY THEFT ON YOUR SOCIAL.

yeah some Indian Guy called and said there was charges being brought against me and to call back and speak to this kevin peterson i called back it says welcome and then hangs up but i hope they call back becuse im going to inform them if they call again there will be a law suit on them for harassment if they call my house AGAIN

I got a call from this number and I was made to cry.  They told me I was being charged with three counts of fraud. I called my bank and they assured me that there is no problem.

Got a call this a.m. from this number requesting my attorney information because I was being sued & the sheriff would be at my home in 30 mins to serve me.  Told him I was recording the call & send me whatever paperwork he had.

I got a call from Kevin as well, he told me that the police would be at my house to serve me papers today. I have called them back probably 100 times and they keep avoiding me. They are sending me to the full mailbox, they arent even answering and putting me on hold, when i finally got to speak to someone i told them to go back to the taliban. Payday loans has actually taken money out of my account and I have never had a loan. Period. This s*** is really pissin me off and i will have the last word in this bs of a scam!!!

ok this is a scam. do not pay these people anything and unfortunetely there is no way to press charges because they use bouncing numbers. damn near impossible to track without them being a national threat. i have the same problem and same phone calls as all of you. best advice i can give you is the same that the police gave me. block the number everytime they try to call you. you should be able to add it to the blacklist in your phone. then contact all 3 credit beaurus and let them know what is going on and make sure there are no false things on your credit report. i would keep a close eye on your credit if i were you cause these A--holes already tried to mess with mine. hope this helps.

My story is the same as all the rest on here.. I too contacted my lawyer right away and asked him what he thought of these calls.  He said that if there was truly a lawsuit, then there would be a summons and I would have received all the needed information for court etc.  These guys are a bunch of bullies, rude as can be, and as ignorant as they come.  I just wish they would stop calling me and a friend who's name I used as a reference when filling out a form online.  Its really become quite comical lately.  "Kevin Peterson"  and "Jake Watson" have been threatening us with being arrested at our place of employment (we are both unemployed college students) and have heard plenty of profanity from these two, that is, when we can understand them.  They have called from the following numbers: (951)582-4832, (951)582-4833, and (714)733-5615.  I wonder if these guys really get paid for this?!?  Wow.

I also received a call from this place saying the ssame thing, Today 8-9-11 the called me 8 times and the lst time they called this guy David Griffen stated that he hopes my life insurance was pais up to date cause if I did not make the payment by today, I would not see the sun come up on thursday. if this is not a threat i do not know one. Others that has called me from this place is , Joe Brown, Alex Watson, Anna Jones, and of course Jennifer Swords herself, look out for this one, somehoe they even got my old banking info and SS # somehow.

i got a phone call back to back yesterday twice while @ work then twice after work @ home trying to relax for the evening and i cures them out and told them to stop calling my F-ing phone and to remove my name from their data base saying something about if i need an attorney i told them no and don't call again so then he waited like 5 minutes and recall me again so i pickup the phone and said what the F are you calling me again for so once againit was @ 8.33pm now told him he was distrubing my peace stop calling my phone who the H are these people don't they have a life? if not it's better things to do besides getting on people nerves. After reading all the comments above, I have realized foreign people don?t know sh**. I just received the same calls that everyone else did. And them saying the same old stuff. Maybe they should try something new. Dumb a** foreign non speaking english dumba**es.

I got a call from this number. They told me to call Kevin Peterson and that i had 3 charges pressed against me by Cash Advance. When I called back they just picked up and hung up.. and so i kept calling. When they finally did answer they answered in an aggressive manor and  they cussed at me. I don't know who they are, I dont know what they are pulling, but I called the sheriffs office and I definately do not have any charges pressed against me.

I just got the same call. They have info they should not have. I did get a payday loan. I'm concerned that they will use this info to their advantage. I acted concerned and got no further information from the guy (heavy accent as well). I am considering calling the police to ask what steps I should take before I call back.

"Mark Anderson" from the "National Bureau of Cyber Crime" with an arrest warrant for me. There's no such thing as that agency. It's a collection company AND it's illegal for them to threaten me with legal action. I just wish I could keep them on the phone and track them or something equally ninja like that.

I got call from a Michael Johnson about 2 hours ago, The Indian man said for me to call back but didnt say what it was for just said if i didnt that there would consequences against me and wishes me good luck. I  don't understand, why this people called, who are they what is the real reason called for.

I would like to report this number. these people are relentless. they keep calling me telling me that I owe money that I never recieved or asked for. And I would like to know what I can do to get this to stop. It's very frustrating, the threats. the scam. they tell me to pay $500 to end this problem, but why should I pay for something that I never got. I called my bank and they don't see anything from a cash advance USA. and I told these people this but they just keep calling. what can I do.

This man is calling me at home and my work place. He say to go and get a pre-paid visa card from Wal- Mart and call him back with in one hour.he demands that I pay him between 800.75 --2500.00. I've called the payday loan company and they told me it was a scam. I don't even have a payment due yet. He threatened me with lose of my job, drivers license, And that I would be picked up by the police. He threatened and intemidated me. He has called my work and my boss told me to get this taken care of.

Then I googled the phone number and here i am ,,,   I will be reporting this attempted scam and telling everyone I know.

I just got the same call today from the gentlemen first he left a very threatening message on my voice mail. My husband thought he was trying to kill me or something! Basically saying if I didn't call back he felt sorry for me. When I called back I immediately asked him what company he was affiliated with. He goes into the whole you owe money thing and tells me the FBI is looking for me. Turns out my uncle is an FBI agent and I inform him of this, HE REPLAYS OH REALLY. The conversation continues he tells me to shut my mouth and I told him I would be informing the real FBI. He hangs up. I talked to a FBI agent and they said to ignore it cause it's just a scam that has been happening a lot lately. I will be contacting social security to make sure my information is protected or what I need to do. You should also do the same with accounts as well

It was a California number 714-733-5615.  I checked my voicemail and got a message from a man with a heavy accent talking very slow, sounded like Indian.  He said to call back to update my data and that it's TIME SENSITIVE that I or my attorney contact him.  I don't even know what it was all about.  I figured okay, I'll contact him ( Cy Lewis), sounded that way on the phone.  I returned his call 8 times, all  get is "Voice mail box is full".  Okay, I thought, let me check out this person, Cy Lewis is DECEASED as of 1978.  What the heck is going on?  After reading the testimonies from others, yes it is a SCAM.    Thanks everyone for sharing the situation.

I have received a call from a Travis Walker with a very heavy accent from this phone number (714-733-5615) telling me that I was being sued and that I need to call the law firm. He wouldn't give me any info on what the charges were but was trying to give me a number to call back so I told him that if he couldn't give me any info that I wasn't calling anyone and he said not to blame him when the sheriff's office come knocking at my door...I just hung up on him. I knew it was some kind of scam to get money.

It's a shame what lengths some desperate people will go through just to get money out of innocent people. Its crazy.

I received a missed call today from this number.  In the voicemail they were asking for "Tammie" and needed to call back because it was a legal matter.  I never called back because my name is not Tammie.  While at work, I received an email saying to call this representative for Jennifer Swords law office with the same number.  I called the number and spoke to a man with a very heavy India accent.  He told me that I had 3 outstanding payday loans and I was going to be arrested on Monday at my place of employment for 3 different charges.  I was then told I would have to pay $1300.00 to prevent this from happening.  I explained to him I did not have any payday loan advance debts and did not know what he was talking about.  He then stated that I would have to pay with a pre-paid Visa that was not linked to my social security in any way.  I would have to purchase this prepaid Visa and fax this card information exp. date, and security code.  I then asked why does it have to be pre-paid, and if there was any type of debt such as this wouldn't it show up on my credit report? He said it doesn't show up until there is a judgement.  I couldn't understand how he knew my name and how he knew my employer.  Then I remembered the original call to Tammie and one that followed where a message wasn't left, the message on my voicemail is of my name and the company I work for.

This is a total scam and harassment.  I am reporting it to the state attorney generals office and filing a complaint with the FTC.

Yea I just got call from kevin peterson, I had already read his name on line, and the scam he's pulling, said he already talked to social security and will stop my check for 6 months, well we all know he can't do that, plus the way it is now, I'm lucky if I get a check. I called him back bout 25 times just to piss him off,  now it must of blocked my number, it just disconnect me, well that's one way to get off of their scamming call list.
