Same problem since yesterday.
The Scam is offering more money for my item to keep it for him. When I called nobody answered, left message and in few minutes got another text about vacation and assistance who will send  me money order!!!

Got two $995.00 money orders for a $185.00 stove. Really? Like I am going to deposit them and send $1805.00 to some Nigerian money sucker so he can take the loot and scoot while I have two pieces of worthless paper sitting in my bank.  He needs to get a job cleaning the open sewers next to his hut in Africa.

I was selling an item for 45 and was contacted by this number and the person arranged payment via money order. I was shocked to find two yes two money orders for 955.00 each. He goes on to tell me his assistant made an error and could he cash them and send the difference to me. This is a scam and he needs to be arrested for scamming and defrauding. Pathetic Nigerians

Yeah it is too bad there is no punishment for people that do stuff like this. I have multiple things on craigs, he text me about a few of the items. Karma is a SOB, he will get whats coming to him.

I listed on craigslist and this idiot said the same leaving for London and his assistant would send a check or cashiers check, I didn't buy what he was selling ha ha, Beware.

I posted an add in Colorado to sell a set of 4 Chevy truck hubcaps. Same deal, he offered to pay $20 more than what I was asking. I played along. Oh yeah, assistant sent me the wrong check and wants me to return the over payment to him in London. The check is from a legitimate bank (PNC Bank out of New Jersey). I called the bank and they were complete idiots and didn't seem interested at all. I went on line and did a routing # search and there is no such routing #. I now have this check for $1750.50 (on a $60 sale?) and will be turning the check and all other information over to the Aurora, Co police dept. Although I must say they seemed less than interested when I tried to talk to them about fraud. They were supposed to have some "internet fraud expert" call to talk to me but I've never gotten a call from anyone.
AVOID ANYTHING FROM THIS NUMBER! NOTHING BUT A SCAM!

I have several postings on Craig's list. I got a text from this number, saying he was in London and his asst. would make the purchase for him...blah, blah, blah. Hope u can stop him

I found my new friend on Craigs list. I'm harassing him now! Same story as above!

Thanks for posting about this phone number.  We got a text in response to our craigslist ad, we decided to check out the phone number before responding.  Glad we did, saved us from an irritating phone call.

he came back with this statement after I told him to pound sand...  you believe this guy?

"you will receive two money orders of money gram by mistake from my assistant"

same here.

he also told me that he fired his assistant.... so I played along and told him that I had friends in London and would hand his overpayment in person.  I told him that I owned a delivery service and could deliver it.  I also gave him some false info in return.  fun to play with funny people....

You are exactly right I just posted an ad in Craigslist to sell my mobile, i got messages from this number, saying he will pay 20$ etc than I asked for and he is leaving to London for vacation and his assistant will send me the check

Received a text in response to a craigslist ad from his person saying they were traveling to London and send their assistant.

This is a google voice number.  The caller / texter is spamming to get your information.
