Just received a call from this number asking for my daughter by her first name. She moved out at least 4 years ago. I said she doesn't live her but I can get her a message. They hung up on me. When I tried to call it back, I got a recording saying that the number was no longer in service.

Just received a call from 714-782-0973. I am and have been on the DO NOT CALL list and have even signed up many times;. Why am I getting these calls and why cannot someone do something about it????

These are normally automatic dialers. If they sense a human voice answer, like saying hello! They route the call to a live telemarketer. If they sense an answering machine, they automatically hang up. If they sense a human voice and all the telemarketers happen to be tied up with other Victims, : ) the party getting the call just sits there waiting. This is likely the case in your situation..

This same number has been alling me thiss whole week and at least 3 times a day. I answer and nobody replies. I called back and an operator tells me that my call can not be copleated at this time. How wierd!!!
