Received numerous calls from 714-782-3200 or different numbers, all bogus, all the same thing for at least six months. It does not do any good whatsoever to file a complaint with the FCC or FTC, they don't do anything. Phone company can't help because the the caller is using false numbers.

Yes, this is a telemarketing company based in India. The callers always want me to "refill" a prescription from an online pharmacy.
Asking them to remove me from their calling lists is futile, so I just don't answer anymore. Or if I do answer accidentally, I tell the caller that there is nobody here by that name and they have a wrong number.
These caller ID numbers are bogus, too. I have had experiences where I have dialed the caller ID number and been connected to a completely unrelated business. Almost always the person answering will tell me that they have received a great number of calls on this number (frequently it is an unpublished number) and they are having to deal with the phone company about these callbacks to calls they did not make.
I think these India-based telemarketers are doing something so a US phone number appears in the caller ID box, when clearly the call has not originated in the United States.

Caller identified himself as Simon Moyer from a Pharmaceutical company in Irving, CA.
I've asked every month for over a year to be removed from the caller list. Simon said "we will continue to call you because maybe someday you will buy something".
When asked where he was calling from, he hung up on me. Looked up # on Google to determine location was Irving, CA.
