Folks, please DO NOT press 1 or any other number to supposedly be removed from their calling list. When you do that all you are doing is letting the robo-caller know that they have reached a live person. You  won't be removed from any list. I'm sorry- I wish these obnoxious calls were as easy to stop as pressing a number. It just doesn't work that way.

I've been receiving two calls a day from these people, I always "reject" the call and they never leave a message.  I reported each call to the do not call registry.  It can't hurt.  The more reports they get, the more likely they'll do something about it...

Calls from this number repeatedly every few hours.

I thought I got rid of this idiots last year when they kept call all day for a month straight...now they are back...it's a telemarketing firm in orange county the retails IT services and other crap, these morons even advertise on craigslist which shows how desperate they are....don't call the number back because all you are doing is confirming that it's a working phone #.  The do not call call list don't work either since I've tried to get the morons at the FCC to do something about this robo-caller.

Calls 4-5 times a day . . . give it up, folks, I don't pick up calls I don't recognize.

have been getting phone calls from this number 2x yesterday & 2x today (it's only noon so am not sure if they will still call this afternoon/evening)  at first i thought of answering it since it's not out of state (only in Anaheim CA), but on second thought, if it's urgent, they should leave a message.  good thing i checked this post first.  too bad my phone does not have a feature to "block" callers or numbers, it's quite irritating & causing inconvenience.

i have had 4 calls on my cell phone in the last two days...they hang up before i have a chance to answer ..

Have started receiving these annoying calls for the past 2 days.  Usually early morning, early afternoon.  Rings 2 to 3 times and then hangs up.  I don't answer unidentified callers.  Shows call coming from Avalon.  Annoying!

Two more calls, one yesterday at 2:30 pm and one again this morning at 8:00. i have reported all three calls to the FTC. If they call again I will continue to report each and every call to the FTC. Only then will they be prosecuted. Everybody should do this. The more reports, the more like the FTC will take action soon.

they keep calling. how could they be a marketing company if they hang up before you can speak to them and don't pick up when you call them back?

Avalon call came in at the stroke of 8:00 am. He was selling security systems. I told him we had armed guards here at the warehouse. He still pushed and asked if we had monthly monitoring. I told him we are wired directly into the police department. He still pushed. I reported the call to the Do Not Call registry.

Several calls per day. Called ID "AVALON". Never leaves a message

I continue to get calls from this number.  No message.

Got a call today from this # today. I called back and got a recording saying "thank you for calling back, you have received a call from a marketing company. If you would like your # to be removed press 1" So I pressed 1.....I will let you know if anything else happens

It is a telemarking scam. GET REAL JOBS!

They said that they are a security company.. Weird

I keep getting calls from 714-782-9243..  I'm going through a credit consolidation thing right now... so I don't answer calls unless I know whose number it is.  Anyone get this number?

this number has been calling me none stop since Dec 20th, 5 times today alone.  I called the number back and it says it is a disconnected number belonging to pacific telecommunications group?

This number comes up with 'AVALON' as an id.. they call at any time of the day or night. I have answered and gotten the usual 2 second quiet delay. I hang up.

Got a call and no idea what they want.  Seems like telemarketer.

Caller ID only shows number on my phone. No message or person, just an open connection.

Called twice today... left no message

My caller ID showed them to be named "AVALON". It's registered in Orange County, CA and is either a telemarketing agency or a collection agency...

I started getting phone calls from this number, yesterday. :-(
I hate it!!! I do the same, I add them to my contact list and call it "Telemarketing"

Well, it's a new month and this new parasite, as well as the usual old parasites have begun calling me long distance (this one from the Orange County/Disneyland area) to my 'for emergency only use' private cell phone number...pfft! This unknown caller 'hounded' me all day long yesterday and has started-up once again this morning just prior to 8AM...ringing twice then hanging-up?

I do not answer calls from numbers not listed in my phone's 'Contact List', but I instead add them as a Verified SPAMMER to it, so that I'll know that such 'bogus' calls are to be ignored in the future.

In addition, I never respond to nor return these calls, especially using the "press 1 to be removed" feature, as all types of calls like these are all just simply SCAMs and these types of leeches obviously 'don't play by the rules' anyway. Calling them back or picking-up the calls only shows them that you are a live number. I ignore these calls so that maybe after several rings/unanswered calls, parasites like these might hopefully drop my number from their 'to try and SCAM' list...cheers.
