They must be getting smart to not use "foreigners." Today it was a white sounding woman with North American English.

She asked for my son. I lied and said he wasn't home. She gave me her "name" and asked me to have him return the call. I don't remember her name and she won't get a return call.

I clicked "Telemarketer" below but I would label this call as SCAM.

Have whoever answers the phone at work tell them you resigned and didn't leave forwarding info.

Called claiming I owed on an outstanding payday loan, threating to arrest me from work. I knew when I heard the accent that something was phishy, and that I answered and the phone rang back, before someone else picked up. Scared me half to death for a few minutes, then just left me livid....

they keep calling me at work. Threatening me and harrassing me.

They just called my job!  The guy with the "indian" accent was rude and threatening. Told me to call 'John Anderson' immediately or else!! How do we report them?

This "indian" accent cursed me, told me i would be atrested and my disability stopped. Who can help track down these people?

Gary im  also  Christian  i  tell you they may hide from  people  but they cannot hide from Christ  i happen to be  called into  ministry  southern gospel  what does it say  when it concerns  Gods children  that are being taken  advantage of   all i can say is  whoever these people  are  they  need to quit the calling they probily  upset with me  for  getting  a  refund on the application fee  which i never knew was there  it caused my  bank acct to go in the overdraft   and then i never got  a   loan in the first place  and the bad thing is  i think every one of them are  the same  people  .  God  has a  way of  protecting  his people

i got a call today from this foreign person on my answering machine i should either call him back or have my attorney call them back i have excellent credit so of course i called back and asked who this was and he said who the hell are you! and i said excuse me and he said who the f*** are you excuse my language and i became upset and started my own investigation unreal i reported them to the fcc call my bank and blocked the number this is insaine! no one should put up with this i have a christian home and we don't approve of such language i will file on every website to stop suck people from calling people and harrassing!!!

I have been getting harrassing calls saying that I am going to jail and they have my social security number. At first I was sick about it til I realized it was a foreigner.

If you have ever fill out a payday loan application or someone has used your number for it, they call and say you owe them money. Their numbers change everyday because they use internet phone numbers that change when they log in. One day California number next day New York. I am a receptionist and I get these calls all the time. I just FWD them to the FBI scam hotline... after really messin' with them  :)

Today my wife got a call from an Indian accent voice telling her she is going to get arrested if she doesn't pay this so called JOHN ANDERSON a attorney from California. So he wants me to give him a call Monday morning with 398 dollars at a western union so he can tell me which prepaid card to send him.

this fool called my son 4 times between 4:14am and 4:17am. i called to see what the number was and was told it was a lawyer looking for a bi*** that used his number online applications. after this sand n****r told me he was a lawyer i looked the number up and low and behold there was bunches of SCAMs from simalar numbers.
So i called the fool back and ripped in to him....he tryed  to cuss back and agrue i spoke over him. I told him that i knew he was a scam and he asked if i googled his number. and told him that calling 4 times in the early morning hours was rude....he hung up on me......best advice see above

Fake, fake, fake.  Of couse, you could say "this is attorney John Smith, and you've called me at home...what do you want, and who will pay my fee of $300 per hour?  LOL!  Personally, wish I had as much free time as these losers do.

Fake, fake, fake.  May I recommend the old air horn remedy...?  May stope them from bothering you, but just don't call back, and if you should pick up say "oh, the scammers..." and hang up on them.  You'll feel better, anyhow.

I have received four phone calls from someone to this person to call back or hire an attorney !!! He has an Indian accent and said if he doesn't hear back soon "good luck with what unfolds around you"... Seems like harassing and threatening phone calls!

Asked for my lawyer. I curesed at them just bc I didn't believe them. Indian accent. He cursed back at me
