I got this number several times in the past week and again today. No message is left. It's absolute nuisance. How do I get this number from calling?

Hey folks,
Any time you call back the number that your CallerID captured, and you get a "this number has been disconnected" message?
That is almost always an indication that the CallerID was spoofed:

I add all spoofed CallerID's to my blacklist in PhoneTray, and zap them after the first ring if they ever call back again.

BTW, when my wife picked up the phone, he said something like "Hi, I'm your local handyman" and my wife said "no you're not, you're not even calling from the same area code" and hung up in his face.

I do not know who R Plummer is at this # but when you answer, they hang up, when you call that # right back, it says disconnected???!!!

SEVEN calls over last few days. Caller ID shows a long number where name should be. Each call has a different number beginning with letter V. Example: V10041453561718 When I called back, number is discontinued. How do these people do this???

They keep calling me for the past 3 days. Very annoying. Call every 3 hrs or so. No message.

How can the number show up on caller ID and then when you call you get a not in service message? Happened to me today.

They called about being a home improvement company and were INCREDIBLY rude.
When I politely declined saying that I was not looking to make any changes to my home, the woman on the line proceeded to tell me how "I came to her country and leave my house in desrepair."
