Looks like the scammers are reviving this number.  Call and hang up.  Callier ID "Cellphone CA"

The only "good" the registry does is keeps bonafide, reputable companies from calling. A reputable company who respects the list won't call people on it. Simple as that. All the others who are NOT reputable will continue to call you. In this manner, who can "reverse check" the company by simple deduction:  If a company calls me, and I'm on the DNC list, I automatically know, rain or shine, 24/7, 365, this is a b***s*** company. Never do business with them.  It doesn't lesson the irritation or the disruption of your peace, but you have to realize that the "good" companies are not calling you and the "bad" companies are.  Don't expect any policing or miracles from law enforcement That's a pipe dream.

As a scabies infection, I resent being compared to a telemarketer. Same as above. Robocaller about "government stimulus grants." Not as much fun to play with as human callers. Boy I can get under their skin.

Tape recorded message for loans. Attempted to call back and learned that the line is disconnected.

Phone number called our business and simply didn't SAY A WORD! ugh.

I received a call from this number at work today... I didn't answer, I let it go to voicemail, in which they did not leave a message.
I do not know how to block them from a work phone, but I have placed a DO NOT DISTURB feature on my home phone and no one can call through on my phone unless they have my pin #. I pay the phone company $2 a month... Best $2 I ever spent.... I gave the pin # to family, friends, and companies that I wanted to be able to get in touch with me.

Answered & got a recorded message...hung up on the third word.

They're spoofing... what's interesting is it wouldn't hang up.  It somehow held my line until the message completed.  I kept trying to hang it up and get a dial tone, but it wouldn't disconnect... the poor people that clearly had to disconnect their number from them spoofing it.  SMH...

This number calls where I work several times, usually earlier in the day. When I pick up there is no response. They hang up 10-20 seconds after I pick up the phone. If there is any way to make they stop please let me know, I have to run to go pick up the phone whenever it rings and this is very annoying to do 3-4 times a morning for nothing.

This number has called us many times before and it is always the same.  I identify my company name, hear nothing, and in about three seconds I get a disconnect from them.  Aggravating, but I have never heard a recording or anything from this number.

Some recording for loans from the Goverment Bailout. Press 1 for a rep press 2 to be removed, don't press 2 they will never stop. I pressed 1 and asked who I was speaking to and the company name and the person hung up.

this is a scam i am sure if it was not they would not try to hide the number they are using there should be a law to not allow people to broadcast a bad number like this

This number just called my business line, but did not leave a message when I let the answering machine pick it up.  I called it back and got the "disconnected or no longer in service" message.  How do they do that - call from a line that is supposedly disconnected?

They called me today.  I think they have illegally called before, also.

That one really surpised me.  They are using a technology that is called spoofing.  I have started letting out of area calls, 800 #'s, and strange #'s got to voicemail!

Any company or individual with their own telephone switch (many companies have this) can make a call and have it appear as if it's coming from ANY number.  There's internal phone system accounting stuff which cannot be faked (ANI, I believe), but unless you have your own 800 number or your own switch, you're not going to see it.

The number you see on caller ID is entirely made up by the calling switch.  I believe that it's now illegal to fake this, but it's technologically easy to do.

I am on the do not call list, how do I get them to stop?

It seems this phone number has now been taken over by the telemarkerts from India trying to fill your prescription drugs at their on line pharmacy.  Do not pick up if you see any of the numbers below.....they will call and harass you daily.  it is impossible to stop them because they constantly change phone numbers, in this case they seemed to have taken over the number formerly used by a loan company.
