Just called me and I picke dup.  I said "Hello" 3 x and it was just dead air.  I called the number back, pressed 1, and removed my number...supposedly.  There is a special place in hell for people like this!

I have received 3-4 calls from this number EVERYDAY!!! All it does is hang up!!! So annoying,wakes up my kids,calls late. Did I give you my #....NO!!! Then do not call!!!

Incessant calls for months on end, these people should be locked up for their abusive use of the phone system.

I continue to get recorded messages from 714-919-0957, sometimes 4-5 calls a day.  I have "opted out" but they don't stop calling.

I strongly recommend the signal horn treatment.  It usually takes once.

I have been getting calls 2 to 3 times a day for months. I have asked them in person 3 times to remove my number (and I wasn't exactly nice about it) and I've called punched in my number on the recording. It looks like the owner is Lisbeth Podsakoff but the number listed for her has been disconnected. I'm putting a recorder on my phone and calling them to let them know that if I get one more phone call I will be sueing her personally for harassment.

They have been calling me since we moved here two years ago. I have reported them to the DNC registry TWICE to no avail. They originally would call and ask for another person (presumably whomever had our phone number previously to us,) now they don't say anything when I answer and try to give them a piece of my mind.

Calls almost every-other-day I pick up, they hang up! My caller reads "California" so I called back, a female picks up and as I'm telling my story she hangs up on me!!  I call back again, someone picks up the phone and hangs up again.

I received a call from this number (714-919-0957) on my cell phone today. I called back from my home phone.  The company name is American First. The automatice voice answer gave me one of two choices, press 1 to be removed from their calling list or leave a message for a representative to return my call at my home number.  I left a message stating they have called my cell phone everyday for the last two weeks and I want to know what business they have with me.  I also informed them that they were calling my cell phone and if they were calling for telemarketing purposes they were breaking a law and would be reported.  Lets see if they call me back....

I just got a call from this number and the guy hung up on me when I started to question who he was and why they kept calling me.  I decided to google search the number because, this company calls at least once to twice a day and, it goes from very early morning to later at night (sometimes when we have already gone to bed)  I see I'm not the only one experiencing the headache.  How can a company legally do this?????

I get a call on my cell phone from (714-919-0957) at least twice a day. They never leave a message plus they hang up when I finally do answer my phone. I finally got fed up with this caller and finally called back and got an electronic message with the option to have my number removed by pressing option #1. I followed the steps and was hopeful this worked. 20 minutes later I received another call from this number...

Ditto to all the harassment you guys have been getting from 714-919-0957.  I've been getting about one or more calls a day from that harassing number for the longest time.  I usually let the answering machine screen numbers I don't know; I figuring if it's something important, then the caller would leave a message.  So... I'm here look for jobs online when this harassing call comes in again.  This time I finally decided to Google 714-919-0957; and low and behold, I too find that I'm not alone in this dilemma.  I'm now curious to see how drew's venture turned out with him giving his phone number to American 1st Mortgage in Anaheim California.  I hope his number doesn't end up on a bunch of other automatic dialers.  drew, if your still out there, please post how your deal turned out.  Thanks.

Apparently the "head guy" at American 1st Mortgage is named Jim Conroy.  Call and ask about "refinancing your home" to get past the operator.

Their main line is 714-776-4100.

Complain with the Department of Real Estate (DRE) at 916.227.0770 and ask for Sylvia.  Get their license REVOKED.

So after a little more research I came up with a real working number for American 1st Mortgage in Anaheim California 714 776 4100.  I asked the receptionist for an office manager and she transferred me to "Jim".  I informed him of my problem and of my frustration with the relentless phone calls from his company.  He stated that it was an automatic dialer and that if I gave him my number he would have it removed. Before giving it to him I recommended that he google the number 714 919 0957 so that he could see for himself how many people have been encountering problems with annoying and relentless phone calls from his automatic dialer.

I gave him the number, informed him that this would the fourth time I've tried to have my number removed from their list and that if the calls didn't stop that I would be filing for a restraining order.

If you are as fed up with these phone calls as I am, I would highly recommend that you call Jim at the number above and ask for your number to be removed as well at risk of a restraining order.  This may help many others stop receiving annoying phone calls if they can finally see that their automatic dialer needs to be shut down!

I have been receiving calls from these people 3 times a day.  I called and talked to Jim according to the post above.  He asked if this was Charlene, I said no.  I told him his company is calling me 2 to 3 times a day and I am tired of being harassed.  I gave him my phone number and he said he would take care of it.  Let's see if it is true.  If not I will start harassing him by phone, pretending to be his mistress and wailing in pain until he just can't take it anymore and changes his phone number.

It's sad that even months later -- its Oct. 1st -- they're still up to it. They call my cell constantly... I never answer.. WTF? How did they get my private cell number? What do I do?

Someone from this number has called multiple times. They ask for Mark, refuse to leave a message, and then call back the next day. This number belongs to American First Mortgage in Anaheim. They are likely asking him to refinance with them. The way they try to remain mysterious is wrong and they need to be stopped. We are on the DO NOT CALL LIST but they still call! From the looks of it they have been harassing peoples homes for a long time and they need to be stopped!

They just keep calling and hang up on the 3rd ring. I call back and a recording says that I have reached America First with an option to have my number deleted. I did not do it the first 6 times, because I did not want to validate my number, but I pressed the button to remove my number - some 20 calls ago. How do you get these people to stop?
