So I just received a letter this past weekend.  On the top left corner it states RE: Wells Fargo BK NA.....My loan was originally written with Wells Fargo but purchased by Bogman because it's a Maryland Bond loan.  A first time home buyers loan.  I called the number on the letter and spoke with Nicki.  1-866-404-4141 and she answered the phone, "hello".  I'm like, is this a real business??  So I continued to speak with her and she told me to go look up the 20009 Home Owner Affordability and Stability Plan and I can see what it's about. And it seems like she wants to offer you the moon and stars.  I asked her for the name of her company and she kept saying Litigation Law Group located in California...She gave me her direct line of 714-924-7122 x 311.  She wants me to forward my mortgage statement and eventually bank statement.  That's not gonna happen.  I am an insurance broker who specializes in Cyber coverage and crime and I promise you all, do not EVER give your personal info especially your SS# information to ANYBODY!!  Unless I am face to face with a bank or mortgage specialist, I will be tossing all these spam letters.

Please, before you send any information, find out everything you can.  I'm grateful I found this blog....

He  offered me the same kind of deal, They send their letter to my prevoius mortgage company stated : Re : American Fed'L Mortgage. I asked for the local address of the company, when he decided to state his company name as LegalLoanReview.com. He asked for my loan number for the mortgage which I didn't have at the time and he got the info form the letter send to me. He said he is going to get some forms to me by email that unfortunately I had to give him; after couple of hours to see if I am elligible for loan modification. Its seems so fishy to be true, bringing my mortgage pymt from 2.5K to $900.

Verified scam. They will take anyone's money ($2995) without checking to see if he or she is actually eligible for the promised programs, such as the HARP.  Go to makinghomeaffordable.gov instead and find out about your actual options and eligibility.  The government pays people to provide this service to your for free, using your tax dollars.  Don't fall for this scam.

Omg....I received that letter too. This time they are called Legal loan Review. I responded to it and gave them all my information and ss# for both me and my husband. They said they will get our lender to modify our loan with 2% rate and are asking us to send them a check for $2995 for attorney fees. The offer is too good to be true so i,m not going to send them the check but I'm worrie that they got our social sec. numbers, DOB's, adress and names.

This company is a SCAM!!  Eighteen months ago the company was called:  "TAX RELIEF SERVICES".  I was told that they could 'help me with my (IRS) tax problems and charged me $3,000.  This year Mike says to fill out 1 form and wait for the IRS to reply.  ...I'm still waiting for him to do something to justify even $300 of the fee charged.

Asked for me by name and then hung up.

This number keeps popping up on my caller ID and nobody responds when the call is answered. Then when you try to call it back it gives you a not in service message.
