This is a collection agency.  Apparently they call everyone in the country who has the last name of the person they are trying to find.  I have repeatedly asked these companies to stop calling our number.  Today I returned the call to the above number and Jessica, with World Wide Recon, got nasty with me when I told her to remove our phone number from their calling list because we do not know, nor have we ever known the person they are trying to reach.  We are on the Do Not Call list.  I have reported two of these collection agencies calls to the Do Not Call list in a week.

I have received several phone calls from 714-922-9489 and I called the Better Business Bureau.  They informed there is no business at this phone number and it is not a business.

This is annoying.  I think it's a collection agency

I told these people to take me off their list I have a cancelled check where the company (I owed) was paid in full.

These people are calling my numbers two or three times a day plus my husband at work, it always show up as a different telephone number.  They want me to prove I paid Kay's Jewelry which I have a copy of a check  marked paid in full. It was a settlement amount they offered me.  I guess I could fax the information, but I don't want them to have my checking account information.  What should I do I tried talking nice to them but now they upset me so much I feel like a am having a heart attack...I am a disabled 61 yr old female (the heart is 9one of my problems.  I have told them to take me off their calling list and hung up on them.

I got a call from 7149229489! Saying it was about my property and if I didn't call back immediatly that it was a refusal to comply and they didn't want to hear that I CALL BACK...

Got 2 calls today from 714-922-9489 but they left no message.  I believe I've had calls from them before but ignore any numbers that I don't recognize. I'm too busy fighting with everyday scammers from local businesses to take tome for these jerks. For instance Target credit and debit card info thieves !!!

These guys are con men pathetically looking for funds to feed their selfish needs.

I'd love to hear the process and what came from it.  Unfortunately, being rude, like being stupid isn't against the law.  But, enough complaints from those of us who get these calls, and who knows.  :)

I do remember a Brandon from this number as well, but also others.  I mostly just blow them off (see my review).

They call my cell number all the time looking for my ex-wife.  They call from multiple numbers, multiple area codes.  Another number they seem to use is 949-797-7100.  So, my cell phone can block all of these numbers as they come in.  What this means is that they won't ring, but go straight to voicemail.

Simple truth in this day and age, is beware of anyone you don't know that you give any information to.  Who is to say they aren't looking to find out in my case, information about me, rather than my ex-wife?

Once they call from a blocked number, they call back 1 minute later from "Unknown".  How creative.  :)  Yes, unknown callers are blocked also.  Problem solved.  :)

Another way to fix this, and most of these hostile calls is to simply say that "all calls of this nature are being recorded" (you are required by law to state it if you actually are anyway).  They will hang up in a second, if they are being recorded, and won't take the chance.  After all, if companies can record you for "quality assurance and training", why can't you, to provide feedback of the same?

I do like the idea of call bombing too.

Incidentally, in the defense of a legitimate debt collector, they have heard about everything from people trying to get out of their debts.  But, I agree unanimously with everyone else.  A little kindness could go a long ways.  Personally, if they could find the offending party, they should have let the courts do their thing.  It's amazing how many "last chances" they have called with.

They're calling to look for someone who happens to share the last name of my ex-husband from my first marriage. First of all, that marriage was over a decade ago, and the ex is hiding out on felony warrants, so no...I don't know how to contact him. Second, I don't even remember him having a relative by the name of the person they're looking for.

When I called back after they left messages for DAYS, the guy I spoke to (Brandon Douglas) basically called me a liar and said that I would need to prove that I don't know the person they're looking for before they'll take my number off of their list. They said the person they're looking for is wanted for an accident liability claim. Great...nothing to do with me, and I don't even know the person. I just happen to share a last name by marriage with that person years ago.


This Brandon Douglas became belligerent and condescending, raising his voice, and basically being a jerk...until he finally hung up on me when I calmly asked for more company information. He stopped answering my questions and asked why after I asked a few, and when I said it was for a formal complaint that would be filed against his company he hit the roof, got extremely rude, and finally disconnected.

I don't know that I've ever pissed off someone like this to the point that they've actually disconnected with me, but apparently being calm, gathering information, and telling them that you're filing a formal complaint against their company will do it.

PS...I wasn't faking either. Filing the complaint today.

I've received a half a dozen calls from this number.  Finally answered it and they are looking for someone that I don't know and does not have any association to my phone number.  I've had my phone number (in my name) since 1997!   The guy told me he was looking for someone who owes on a debt and its urgent they locate him.  The guy told me he'd remove me from their call list.  Today... got another call from these people!  What don't they understand???  I told him that this person they're looking for has no relationship to my number!  The guy said he'll remove me from their call list.  We'll see.

7149229489 keeps calling my husband looking for his brother despite the fact that every time they call he tells them that its the wrong number and he has passed the information on to his brother.
One time, the man on the phone went as far as to go off on him saying 'well I believe that YOU are *insert brothers name* and you're just LYING to me!!' among other loudly spoken, rude things. They call almost every day and its absolutely ridiculous. I am certain that if this is an actual company they will have a lawsuit on their hands VERY soon. They're not following proper protocol.

Receive the same calls... It's a debt collection agency, that are not following protocol. They are supposed to say that the call its purpose to collect a debt if spoken or leaving a message, and the messages that they have left, they never do so. Not following the practices of FDCPA

OMG....SOOOOOO F*****G GLAD I FOUND THIS SITE THE SAME DAM GUY "BRANDON ROGERS" HAS BEEN CALLING AND HARASSING ME TOO!!!!! HE TOLD MY 11 YEAR OLD SON ON THE PHONE THAT IF HE DIDNT HAVE ME CALL HIM BACK HE WAS GONNA SEW ME!!! NOW THE POOR KID THINKS IM GONNA GO TO JAIL OR SOMETHING.....UNBELIEVABLE !!!!!!!!!! They call me every day, sometimes 3-4 times a day.  I have told them to stop and only contact via mail, the guy told me they sent a letter 45 days ago and that was good enough.  He refused to give his name.  I politely asked to stop calling this # as it is my primary work number, he said "OK, I'll call you again tomorrow"  I then became very upset with him, and told again not to call this number, he then said "Pay your bills, I am going to call you every day and not stop no matter what" .  I guess I will see what happens tomorrow

This jerk has called my home repeatedly.  I called him back this morning and he told me to 'take my smart mouth and go away' and hangs up on me.  He calls for someone who hasn't lived here for over a year.  He is harrassing me.  I feel like it is important to report him.  He has to be a debt collector.

Got phone calls from this number back in March 2013 and again today!!! 7/11-7/12 2013. They have also called and harrassed my mother on her phone in March and again on 7/11 2013. These peope whoever they are are rude. I contacted a lawyer and was told that what they are doing is against the law especially when a third party has been contacted. This is getting old and uneccesary!!!!

Got a call from the same company, but different number (714-316-2640) four days ago.  They left a message saying that they've made many contact attempts and the number to call back.  Two red flags . . . I don't owe anything to anyone that would be in collections (any calls I'd get would be direct from my bank where my cards are) and the phone number they are calling belongs to my 12 year old!

I called them back and said I wanted to know what this was about and to remove the number from their lists.  I spoke with a guy named "John" who was surprisingly very polite.  He told me they've been trying to reach Leslie something-or-other and I told him I had never heard that name before and have only had this number for less than 2 months (truth!).  I also told him this number belongs to my 12 year old and he needs to STOP calling immediately.  He said he noted the account and we shouldn't get anymore calls.

Fast forward to today . . . 12 year old's phone rings with this number (714-922-9489) and I find it's the same company that said 4 days ago we shouldn't get any more calls.  Grrrr . . . . >:(

A Mr Rose called my parents house looking for my boyfriend, (WHO DONT EVEN LIVE THERE)....and said that it was a civil matter wanted to know how much he pays for rent. and where he worked, when will he be there, said they had papers to give him about a civil matter. VERY HARASSING when they were told that he didnt live there. Said they would be there between 12 and 4 to see him....lol

And the person he's calling about never once lived at this house and just has our last name!

I'm going to find out where this punk a** kid is calling from and planning my next vacation to where ever this company just to punch him in his f****ng mouth! He's gotten s****y with my parents and my brother's in laws.  I'm done with this little weasel who tells my patents to "shut up" and calls back in a min to say he "wasn't done talking and they needed to listen". I had 1 phone call from this bi*** and already want to beat his a**!

Call constantly! !!!  Never leave message. Who do we report this with, must b illegal.

I started getting calls about a month ago. My wife answered and gave me the phone. They were looking for someone I didn't know and continued trying to ask me questions I couldn't answer either. Finally I told them to have a nice day and hung up.

Pr and associates are a$$holes. They keep calling asking for Corey, I let them know this is not his number, and to stop calling. They also call at 8 am let them know that was not cool. Now "Glenn Beck" (how stupid do they think the people they are calling are) is making it a point to call me at 8am. You want to get them to stop calling you. Call them back over and over and over. They do manual calls so you will tie up their phone lines. They will eventually give up. I get a phone call from them, they get call bombed from me! It's childish I admit, but at this point its working.

Claimed to be PR and Associates. Debt collection. Did not even have the right name, not to mention I do not owe a debt.

Found website http://www.prassociate.com/ located in India(!) but who can tell they are really who they claimed they are?

I talked to a manager who refused to clarify how they got my personal information (cell #) in the first place, he claimed that phone numbers are public information. He further refused to give official business address, even after I explained him I needed his address to be able to send him certified mail. Quote from the manager "It is not of your business how we obtained your phone number" "Enjoy your life, this call is over."

get calls every day for a debt of a martin some one . it's a scam !

Just got the call to my business. "Brandon" left a case number and a telephone #714-316-2729 which does not match the number he called from.

He asked for a co-worker who was out of the office and I told him he would not be back until Monday so he said he would "hold" the case and make note of the conversation.

I had to ask him what company he was from so that I could get a reference for the co-worker.

They have called before, asking for other people. Beware!
