I've been receiving several daily calls, they started becoming more persistent today and have started calling my work and my friend telling him that I had him as a loan reference. For one, the only loan I have is my student loan which was applied for 4 years before I even knew him!

I called back and spoke to officer generic name with a thick accent. I asked the "officer" what precinct number he was with and he put me on hold. When he picked up again he claimed to be some one else and was now an "attorney" I asked him what state he was licensed in and what his bar number was so I could verify with the state bar before we spoke and he started yelling at me. He told me that $500 was deposited in my Chase account in July. I told him I didn't have a Chase account in July. He then proceeded to tell me that he was experiencing a computer problem so the date was incorrect.

I am apparently a "criminal lady" and should "just watch and wait". I told him I just got home from work so to go ahead and send the police on over to come get me. He hung up.

Clearly this is a scam. I have no outstanding debt short of a large hospital bill that I'm on a payment plan for and only owe about $75 more for. I know that you cannot be arrested even if you truly owe a debt and the stupid responses and stories these people make up are laughable. Its quit amusing how badly they mispronounce my name.

I will be setting up fraud alerts with my bank and all three credit bureaus as they have my complete social security number. Its disturbing that they have all my information (although the address they have for me is old), I don't like that the know the full ssn# and know my bank even though its a new account. There's a limit to the damage they can do short of being annoying.

However, it's so upsetting to me that they have contact numbers for my friend. Its getting to the point where their calls for me are close to harassment and I don't want him to have to deal with that too.

I'm wondering if anyone has had any success in getting them to stop. Do they just give up eventually?

I just called my local FBI office.  They said to just ignore it.  If it keeps happening, they said to call the local police department and let them investigate.
If these idiots need work to do, I can help them get a real job--making license plates in the federal penn.  Let them keep up their crap and they'll see what happens!!!!

I keep getting a call from a man who claims to be an office, stating that I have been brought up on 3 legal felonies. When questioning him, it is very hard to understand what he is saying. He had my first and last name as well as my ss# and ip address with my email. I need to know who this man, is demanding that I pay him $475 by this friday through a visa prepaid card, and now he is harrasing my brother. We need answers and we need them now.

They call me at work too....Im sure they received my info from some pay day loans I took years ago...The loans worked good for me and I payed them with no problems....But these people either are the same people that gave me the loan, or they received my information online from the loans.....Never use the internet to shop for payday loans,  this is what can happen.....

So got another harassing phone call from "Officer Justin Walker", advising me that he had a recorded conversation about me paying money. Then he had someone else call my brother yesterday and harassed him. I am so done with this man calling me at work that I had to put my boss on the phoen in order for him to stop calling. Once I told him to take me to court he got very hostile and verbally abusive. Please do not accept any info from this "Officer Justin Walker" or whatever other name he decided to come up while on the line with you because he switched his name at least two time while talking to me.

They called me at 7:30 this morning...someone from the Middle East who can't speak English with the name Officer James Carter?  Plus the number came up from California, so that measn they were calling at 4:30 PST?  I told the last one who threatened to show up at my mom's office and would kill her to show up b/c she didn't work so it would be hared to show up at her office.  They then said tey would show up at my house and bury our bodies f we didn't pay, so I told them to come on b/c I would be waiting with all the lights on.  Of course this was 2 years ago, and no one has shown up yet.  I called one of them back, and the lady who answered the phone and left my voicemail were the same person, but had a different number.

I just got a call today from this number, stating that it was Officer Victor King calling from US Financial Crime Info Dept.  He said not to say anything, to just listen to what info he had and then I'd have an opportunity at the end to say whether or not I wanted to take care of this matter to settle out of court.  He proceeded to tell me that I had 3 counts against me because I took out a loan and never paid it back and the financers have been waiting too long already (that's a direct quote) and basically that I owe $620 after all the finance charges and blah, blah, blah.  He was very hard to understand because of his accent.  I continued to question him on who he was and where this supposed loan was from and if they were going to give me something in writing because I had no idea what he was talking about.  He said he wanted to know whether or not I was going to agree to settle out of court or if he should start the legal proceedings. I continued to question him, and then we got disconnected.  He is calling me at work and on my cell and he has all my personal info.  Who can I report this guy to?  It concerns me that he has all this info.  I hope no one will fall for this obvious scam.

Call your local Secret Service office and give them the name and number.  Explain that you don't owe anything to these people they keep calling and you can't get them to stop.  That is what I did before.  However they do call back every few months.  I have just started to ignore the calls.

Prank Call
I rcvd a voice mesage this morning on my cell phone and he identified his  name (Justin Walker) and
that he was calling from California FBI  Crime & Investigation and he had a Indian accent and said to
call him back ASAP @ (714) 929-7223 so that I could make some kind of payment arrangement with
him to clear my name. But funny because on my CALLER ID it had a Honolulu area code and cell
phone number (808-450-2328). That cell number doesn't exist because I called it. That looks like a
MOBI cell number. Anyway, I called the Honolulu FBI office to report it. The operator said  it's a SCAM
because he had couple complaints against the same number. He imputed information into their
national data base...  So  FBI OFFICER (Justin Walker) or whoever you are, please stop SCAMMING
people because your'e day will come.

Tried to tell me I took out a loan I never paid back.  They had my information which is very scarey.  I asked them to fax paperwork but never received.  I reported them to the Attorney General already.  No one speaks English and they try to bully you which is Illegal even if you owed the debt.

By law they sould not be able to call you at your job. My supervisor tells them that too when they call me here at work. The calls I have been getting are finally pretty much stopped for now at least. You can also call the attorney generals office and report the numbers.

I got a call from that number and he asked me to spell my name to verify who I was.  Well you don't have to be a harvard graduate to spell it and when I refused he hung up on me.  This is just a big fat scam and not the "Law office of ... who got my name and number for a criminal case."

If anyone of you find out how we can stop them from calling my work number I would appreciate it.  Trying to make a living and have these dummies calling me all the time.  They change numbers and if they would have wanted to arrest me they would have done it 2 yrs ago when they started calling.  Very annoying.
