Spoofed number

Over the calls to my family members which I HAVE NEVER even lived with which are out of state and telling them this is a CRIMINAL matter .. The next call will be a CRIMINAL matter against these worthless POS!!!

They called me today and he said me and my manager have left you several messages and we haven't heard from you I need you to call me by the end of the business day at 714-415-3921 when I called back when he answered Isaid that I was going to record the call and bug it soi would know hes location then he hung up..

Got several calls wanting my wife to call back.  The best way to handle these is to answer--say nothing and immediately hang up.  They will stop.  Its a scam, they buy old lists, many of the phone numbers are wrong, and the debts are well beyond the statute of limitations.  But if you answer and argue, they will keep calling--answer, say nothing hang up immediately.  It works.

Ansered the phone nobody talked hung up on the dumb a***s I'm sick and tired of these idiots calling.

Add me to the list .....word for word saying they've been trying to reach me for a long time.....never heard from them before today.....wondering how they get our names and don't really want to reply....Is there anyone out there making payment arrangements to get student loans out of default? Curious about GC Services and some of their practices......could they be connected to these people?

How do I call to report them?

I got a call from these goofballs trying to sound all tough, when all he really sounds like is computer generated. I followed up his call with a call to the National DO NOT CALL REGISTRY, 1-888-382-1222 or www.donotcall.gov

I received the same message, word for word. I have no dealings with them.

I have been treaten for a week I finally had it and told the rude lady im reporting her and she told me to shut up.. and as me being short tempered I went off on her and thing been so peaceful lol, THERE FAKE, REPORT IT

My elderly parents have been getting these hateful, threatening calls as well. I'm not sure exactly low long they've hounded by this # and company. For about 3+ years, they've been hounded by someone claiming that my father defaulted on a college loan. (Dad is in his 80's!) They said the person's middle initial is "A", and dad doesn't have a middle name. They still act like they don't believe him and continue harassing them. Yesterday, when I answered their phone, it was the same message as everyone else's here. May be these same people, but with a different phone # this time around?

About the link to FCC(?) to report these people? I went to that page and don't see anywhere to report. Is there another link to do this? RThanks.

They callex my parents looking for me....indicating they have called numerous times...they havent. I called them back and they were rude...disconnected 2 times and argued with me that I hung up. Then they told me to call back when I figure it out??? Huh? They woukdnt tell me the name of the company....they answered the phone saying "corporate".

I received the exact same phone call yesterday... Never heard from them before... I dont care to respond but I did report them as well.... Seems that this is a scam... pre recorded message to everyone, and when you pick up and they sense any tone of knowing your rights or asking who the claim is for or so on, they just hang up. That right there shows its a scam because they know your not going to fall for it. PATHETIC [removed:lang]!!!

I received a call from this number yesterday, saying that they were CCS and that "it would be great if I could return their phone call" that they have been trying to reach me and have left several messages. This guy was very sarcastic and demanding in his message and did not leave a name, said I needed to contact him by the end of business day. First off, ive never received a call from this number or company before, secondly, that was the first voice mail ever received, not multiple, and thirdly, I think they need to learn some better tactics because when approached with that type of voice mail,.. It only intrigued me, to search into this company and caller and reverse the tactics on them! They now have been reported to the BBB and have also found their address (which they will not give) and have sent out a certified letter requesting the calls to stop immediately. A good tip to start off with also is to tell them you know your rights under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act... This will spook them. But never admit the debt what so ever! Also look on your credit report under inquiries because if you can not find their info, it will be on your report

I got the same call everyone else got ("by the end of business. TODAY.") from some snotty sounding surfer bro a couple of weeks back.  I actually thought he said CPS instead of CCS, and being as I have no children, I ignored the message.  I got a call from Adrianna Martinez on Friday saying if I didn't call back, all decisions would be considered final, etc.  So I call back.  Adrianna was very nice.  She told me she worked for the law offices of John Hardin, and that I was being sued by USBank for breach of contract on the grounds that I had defaulted on a credit card (true story, except that I settled it and paid it off almost three years ago).  I explained to her that I had paid that off, and she told me she could put a 72 hour hold on my case if I would look for my zero balance letter mailed to me when I paid off the debt and fax it to her.  I found it and faxed it to her the next day.  I called her Monday morning (today) to make sure all was well, and no one answered.  I left a voicemail.  Adrianna has not called me back, and after discovering this thread, I know why.  Someone did call me a couple of hours ago claiming to be "John Hardin" from "corporate" and asked to speak with me.  When I said, "This is he," "John" hung up.  I called the number back and got "Dave" at CCS.  CCS isn't even a real collections agency--this is a scam 100%.  While I think the claim of "threat" based on the voicemails we have all received is a stretch, I can't imagine that it's lawful to impersonate an attorney on the phone for reasons of obtaining information.  [removed:lang]

the guy called and told me he was from cps  was rude but he said  you must call back by the end of the business day OR ELSE ! excuse me not claim with with someone your not with  i want to file a complaint

My uncle has been getting calls from this place also. They are calling him saying that he is listed person on my husbands, dad's account. My uncle has nothing to do with my husbands, dad. They say they have called numerious times and no one calls them back. We have called them back and told them we have nothing to do with them. They won't listen, they still call everyday. They are now saying that because my husband is named after his dad, they are turning the case over to the DA and are going garnish the wages of both my husband and his dad. My husbands name isn't on any of his dad's sh*t.

They called my daughters house and left info on their machine.  Said they are trying to reach me.  They have never called my home phone.  Reporting them now.

we got the same call.  I believe it to be a nuisance call and did not return the call.

Got the same message myself.  Reported it.  Ignoring it.  Will report it to the state attorney general's office.

They left the exact same message. Male voice sounding very angry saying they have left numerous messages and has to hear from me by the end of the day! They left 714-975-7600 as the number to call back. He doesn't state his name only that "this is CCS". This is the first time I have ever received a message or a call from these people. The message was awful! I can't imagine what he would have said had I answered!!! TOTAL SCAM!!!

I received the same call but from a different number. The number is 714-975 7610 the number is different but the same message. So everyone watch out they are trying everything to get information. Turn them in...

Got the same message...the man said he was Richard and asked me if I OWNED the phone number when I said there was noone here and to remove my # from their list.  He was so RUDE!!!  I ended up hanging up on him as he was laughing.  They can't be any type of legitimate business.
