i recieved a call from that same 714-983-8818 number and they said i owed money to a credit card so they had my info so we set up to have money taken weekly from my debit card and this week i decided to call Carl Thomas only to find out that the number is not in service no loger so when i look on my bank statement to see whgo is taking the money out it gives me aname of a company and address so i  looked up the addres and their is no such name so i canceled my debit card when they go to try and take out the money again it will say declined i want to know who this company is and the gordon associates number is now no longer in service

Same thing got a call from a "company" called CSS and to call back a Lisa Campbell to be sure I would be home between 8 am and 430 pm to sign for them, It had a case number.
I called them back, no real person answered I simply told them I would not return any more calls or give out ANY information unless the explanation of the papers were about.Then I threw in a lawyers name and said if they called back it would constitute harrassment.

If they have legal papers for they are NOT going to call you first and if the papers are of a legal content then a court appointed courier will deliver them no-matter what the time is.  IT'S A SCAM

Company receptionist received a phone call from a William, requesting I call Lisa Campbell back at 714-983-8818. I did call, the voice message said something like Carl Thomas Law Firm (or Carol).

Received call from CSS who says they have been contracted to deliver my documents and wanted to verify someone would be home to accept on my behalf and apparently (since I didn't answer call I'm assuming: I'll need to reschedule and to call Lisa Campbell.

I'm guessing it's a bill collector however I never had anything set up with anyone to deliver paperwork to me so I know this is just a ploy to get information from me.

got a call from an anonymous caller telling me to call Lisa Campbell concerning legal papers to be delivered to me between 8:00 and 4:30. don't know who this is

Caller claims to be from CSS with some ambiguous message about a legal matter and requesting a call back. Sounds like a phishing attack.
