Received a text message, March 9, 10:31 PM saying:

"You have been selected to receive a free apple iPad. Just go to www.EASYiPadGift.com within 4 hours to clain your gift. (To cancel: STOP)





?"

That is the message exactly as it appears on my phone, complete with random question mark several spaces below the rest of the message. I've been getting increasing calls and messages from unkown numbers over the last 6 months, and I seem to be among many others who are having this problem even though we are on the "Do Not Call" list.

Oops,   Got the domain registrar wrong, not Godaddy..., this time.

Domain registrar is SCHLUND.INFO  which redirects to "1und1.de."    Apparently they are related in some way to "1and1.com web hosting, a hosting site with a "questionable" reputation.

Received a text message on my cell phone on 3/9/12 at 10:00pm from 714-988-5125.   Text as follows:
"You have been selected to receive a free Apple iPad.  Just go to www.easyipadgift.com within 48 hours to claim your gift.  (To cancel: STOP)  ?  "
