i got a tex from 448-47, that said i won a $1,000 wal mart gift card. something smells fishey. it said to tex stop but im afraid it will open a whole new can of worms

I got a call from this number and the caller asked for "Stephanie" (i think).  I told him he had a wrong number and we disconnected.  

But I also just started receiving txt messages from 448-47 about GiftConfirm.com (which looks shady).  It has a note in the txt to send STOP to quit, but I fear that would just confirm the number and put me on a calling list for sure.

The caller said I won a $1,000 on line shopping spree. However, I need to pay a small shipping fee. They wanted to know my age and other personnel information. ( I hung up) When I called back I got a fax machine.
