I got this same text, does Verizon hand out their phone numbers? Is this practice legal? It shouldn't be, I was in a meeting when my phone beeped. Some people say I should turn it off, but it's my personal cell, I wasn't expecting any calls or messages. But you get that stare. It really sux that people or companies can spam your phone with text messages. It's my phone, I pay damn near $100 a month. My info should be secure and there is no reason for Verizon to hand it out to advertizers.Of course, I wouldn't have a use for an iPad3 even if it was free. If I wanted one, I'd buy one. Numbnutz.
