Please do not take them serious.  They called my office line today from 716-204-7541 and did not ask for me by name also, just started talking about a legal matter that is being drawn up as we speak, well I dont know what country he calling but Here in the US we have something called Summons and they dont call to warn you first!

You're an idiot. People who can afford to pay their debts don't go to extremes to avoid it. The VAST majority of people who owe money (and that's assuming the debt is legitimate) do so because they DON'T HAVE ANY WAY TO PAY IT. People who have been unemployed for so long that their benefits have expired, people on disability, single mothers who are on welfare because they're not getting child support...those are the people these nasty debt collectors are harassing because they know they are vulnerable and easy to intimidate. If you're a bill collector you need to get a grip on reality...you're not calling people who are trying to get out of paying their bills,  you're calling people who are barely getting by keeping a roof over their heads, and I guarantee that paying their rent/ utilities, etc. is a bigger priority than making good on a debt that is probably old and has already been written off by the original creditor anyways (for a tax break, by the way). Not to wish harm on anyone, but I sincerely hope that you find yourself in a similar situation someday so you will realize what you're talking about.

I have Ooma internet phone service and can block any number I want. It is the greatest service I have ever had. A one time fee for the Ooma box and never pay another phone bill. You get caller ID, blocking and all the extras you want. I am just so happy with the service. Had it for 3 years now.

Got a call today about my "file" and to call Mr. Zimmer from Goldman & Price back today at 888-875-5183 extension 403.

the man is a smartass and cuss's and want's my mother who is 82.he needs to stop calling my mother the way he doe's. i don't let him talk to her and it sure make's him mad. ineed your help.

Recently I checked my credit report and found out this firm checked my credit. They checked my credit without my permission.  It is illegal. Now they keep calling me a few times a day for many months.

They help collect debt to make their commission.  I may file a lawsuit against them. I am talking to law firms now.

If you receive any calls from collections persons and they make any ANY! threats of legal action or whatever. Remain calm do your best not to curse them out and then call your lawyer. If you do not have one try looking for Legal Helpers. You can find them online. They are out of Sacramento California so they may have to refer you. I went desperately searching for a way to file bankruptcy before they could garnish our wages and put our family on the streets. I found legal helpers online. They called me immediately after I clicked the submit button. I was crying and distraught after the conversation with the collectors. She got me in touch with people in their office who take these SOB's to court and get you money. So remember...Stay calm and record all they say then contact a lawyer or legal helpers. I hope this saves some of you the stress and emotional distress involved in dealing with these high paid knee breakers.

Just got letter. Didn't open it but you can see thru it. Said something about national maryland bank.  I never did business their. Never lived there. They had my old address. So, I'm sending it back. Return to sender. Any advise from anyone???

i received a call from this number due to a debt collection i owed. they advised they would freeze my accounts if i refused to make arrangments. being a low life debtor i negleted the bill a little longer and sure enough i get a statement from my bank that my shared checking account is negative... twice the amount that i owed on the collection account. i figured now would be a good time to try and pay, the person i spoke with help me set up a resonable settlement and they unfroze my bank account within the week. theses folks are no joke, having lawyers at their agency means court, judgements and law suits.

I have received call from this office repeatedly. I've started to thank them for calling, and that their call is very important to us, all of the current residents are currently devoted to other interests, and then put the call on hold. They don't semm to enjoy being treated as they treat others(-:

5.)Ask for their supervisor

This number has called me at least 3 times since I recieved a letter in the mail from them. I don't answer the phone unless I know who is calling me. I know what they want, I have a ccard that they are collecting on but I have placed them with my debt settelment company . O'm not gonna answer the phone cause I don't need some guy or woman who thinks they are better than me , threatning me and not letting me talk and all the crap they do if they get you on the phone. If one of my kids answer the phone I just say wrong # and hang up.

O man hahaha...I got a call this morning from this number that I ignored and immediately after, I recieved a text message from MY OWN NUMBER that read "666."  These guys have to be kidding, I just looked into it and realized that you can do this through vtext.com and just put the callback # identical to the recipient.  I just wish I could have been there and watched some guy, most likely middle-aged, do this and he probably got a good kick out of it.  If you get a call from this number, just pick up and hang up immediately...people don't tend to like when you do that.

I have been harassed by this firm for debts related to a person I don't even know.  Rather than cease calling, the firm has been ruthless and abusive with their messages and calls.  I have several times explained that their call is a violation of several statutes at both the state and Federal level, but that has done little to stop their inappropriate behavior.  Thus, I will be reaching out to the Attorney General of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Martha Coakley, Undersecretary of Consumer Affairs & Business Regulation of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Daniel Crane, and finally to the Attorney General of the State of New York (my home state).  This firm’s failure to provide any type of documentation or discontinue calling are both serious violations of the law.  I encourage anyone unfortunate enough to be called by this firm without just cause to contact their state Attorney General and the Massachusetts contacts listed above.  (This firm is based in Peabody, Massachusetts.)

These scumbuckets call me at the crack of dawn, while I'm in classes at college, and while I'm sleeping or working. They harass, threaten, swear, adn attempt to belittle you and intimidate you. They think they're better than you and they're just scum-sucking lowlife pieces of debt-collector trash trying to make a buck off of someone else's misfortune. I told them to f*** off, and the best part? They keep calling, even though I sent them a cease and desist notice because they aren't even looking for me, they're trying to get a hold of someone else. They ask for some other person, and I told them I'm sorry I don't know how to help you, 'cause that's not me and I don't owe one red cent in this world to any one, I have all my bills totally paid up. These guys are truly trash. Cheap bottom of the barrel debt-collectors who don't know their heads from holes in their a**es and obviously don't know squat about the fair credit and debt collection act.

I got a call this morning with "Law Office" 716-204-4022 on my caller ID.  A woman started to leave a message on my answering machine asking some man to call about an important matter.  The reason I picked up the phone was that the name she was asking for was the first name of my wife's last husband and the last name of a boyfriend she had when she was in her early 20's (the father of my step-daughter).  My wife is 36 now.  Anyway, I said that the name is familiar, and she said is there anyway that you can get in touch with him to tell him and this is a law office etc.  i said that the name is familiar and that they might want to call back later when my wife gets home.  Then she said my wife's first name! I said yes.  So I was thinking that this guy was in trouble or something.  She said tell your wife to please call Susan Bronson Law Office at 1-888-990-8010 Ext. 4208 and that it is important.  After that I felt strange about the call and how they knew so much about my wife our last name, but they are calling about 2 men from my wife's past as one man.  Very strange.  I googled the number on the answering machine and also the number that i was told to give to my wife.  I don't know what to do if they call back!  Are they really looking for one of those men or is it for my wife?  I am very confused.

I use a air horn when they call.  I blast it right into phone.  These people are the scum of the earth.  It doesn't matter why you are having financial trouble, they don't care.  Dead husband, lost job, Too ffing bad. These collection agencies operating under the vail of a law firm are just plain EVIL!

Buy an air horn and make a shyster collection agencies day. :}

I really like the caller from this seedy law firm who said the "Sheriff is coming for you." They called my house, and delivered this ludicrous message. Now, when the bogus sheriff arrives, he's in for a a rude awakening!   I am a Deputy Sheriff.  I will have a few choice words before arresting he or she for impersonating a police officer, harassment, and possibly even criminal trespass. Someone called from Bronson Law. My answering machine went on, I could hear a woman laughing. Didn't sound like a lagit law office. They've called 4 my brother. I have no idea about his life or finances. In fact if they find him, let me know...he borrowed money LONG ago. Perhaps that's why he doesn't keep in touch. I've told them he's not here. They call anyway. Can we file harassment charges???

You can try to change your social security number, your name, driver license.  So they will never find where you are. If they know where you work, they maybe garnish your wage. Be very careful about that.
