Brian Murphy apparently changed or has another 716# 716-362-2358 and is stating he is from East Point LAW FIRM. The debt we have is in fact however he misrepresents himself as a Law Firm collecting a debt. All with several other false/inaccurate information. Citi Financial uses this guy to threaten the lively hood of their clients into ruin. Does not report back to their client any offers or workaround you offer. Instead says that you refuse to do so. Don't talk to this guy, instad call and speak to, better yet write a certified letter to the person you owe. It's the only way you're protected.

I have been getting calls from East point Recovery Steven something and he claims I owe on a privet student loan through a school  I went too. When I contacted the school they sent me all my loan information and there was no personal loan under the name he was claiming.

Brian Murphy (if he is for real) called looking for Michelle with a case number and this is very serious, call back.  I am not Michelle.
The callback number he gave was:  (716) 204-7493- with all the others posts about this hoax, he also references a case number- probably picked it out of mid-air; #171306.  Not calling back !

I know Exactly who is behind this. It's a piece of s*** 40 year old named Craig Eugene Ford. He is constantly spamming people and stealing their money. Unfortunately he is my half brother and he f****d my family over and had my dad lose $10,000 on a piece of hit bug. He is a liar,pedophile and a FAKE hells angels he was only a meth cook. He is either in Oxnard or Paso Robles California. A lot of bill collectors are after him so if you know him turn him in.

what is this??  My daughter did default on a <1500.00 loan from Rooms-to-Go I just found out about it when this rude person started calling me a few days ago. Joe Delangeo(sp?).   Said a lawsuit against my daughter would be filed by today if not pd 4,400.00. Not sure whats up with this. Help.

Same as everyone else.  He is calling from a legitimate collection agency.  They call every name or referral related to  a name of someone they are trying to collect from.  Threats, intimidation, bad credit whatever gets you to pay something.  What can be worse than what's already happened?  Nothing!

I think this is a bogus call; Brian Murphy left a message--didn't call me by name, didn't name his firm, just said a serious claim has been made against me and I need to call him immediately or he will be forced to place a recomendation on my file that will not go in my favor...what file?  favor of what?  I've left a voice mail with my lawyer to ask if this is real or bogus.  After reading the above I am thinking it's bogus.

Left a voice message on my phone, pretty much threatening me that if I do not return his call he will report me to blah blah blah and he didn't have a nice tone...he was looking for a Danielle...there is no Danielle here! Sounds like he was looking to collect some debt and wasn't so happy about it. I returned the call and left HIM a message telling him!! Better get the right person next time!
