This is a 3rd party Debt Collection agency...Period. They/he/she will use what ever half truth story to try and convince/warn/threaten you into paying any old debts you may have...they could be so old you may have even forgotten them. When a debt is getting to the point where it can be legally taken off your credit report (7/10 years old) BY YOU. The debt agency will do whatever it takes to collect money from you before its too late,otherwise the debt they originally bought from your original creditor will have all been for nothing and they get nothing. Now if the debt is under 7 years old and you want to pay it off for a smaller amount to clean up your credit ,great! But beware....if the debt is so old that it can be taken off your credit report by you and you do ANYTHING with that debt( use IT,pay IT,etc) it AUTOMATICALLY restarts the clock! so even if you make a $1 payment towards that debt and then rethink your decision,it too late! That debt it now considered a NEW debt because you reactivated it with new activity! and by buying into what these 3rd party collectors tell you! So please be vigilant in regards to these 2nd/3rd party collection "agents" who see them selves as lawyers in training but actually have no reputable law training to speak of...but or most likely just a hourly employee with a list debtors on their desk and one agenda...To TRY AND OUT SMART YOU, and in turn make their money back,or should I say;make their bosses money back.

Pay your bills.....idiot...they call my phone continually looking for someone that does not live here....I pay my bills and have no relationship or contact with the person they are trying to contact. Oh, when you mention the fact you have repeatedly asked them to stop calling they HANG UP!

These people are calling my cell phone for somebody else.

got a similiar call today saying a family member of mine needed to call them right away i was only contact number they have and they were filing legal papers by end of week if didnt hear something they would have legal action and be summoned.i dont appreciate this kind of call they need to have something done to them for harrasment.they called from 716 204 7551 like to know how they got my number but i will report if they keep calling me.

have u ever heard pay your bills... people get sued like this all the time. when the contacted me and i actually wanted to take responsibilitys for my actions and they did everythin i to make it real so grow up take care of ur bill and stop trying to blame everyone cause u dont no how to pay ur bills

I recieved  basically the same message as everyone else, very threatening, wanted my social for verification, I said no..hung up and they continued to call back repeatedly, also calling other people in my family leaving threatening messages and telling me to call back immediately or get a lawyer! How can they be stopped or reported?

Same here they call to my number and left a message that says they are calling from fair fax county clerk office about my name and social security being used illegally(which is not true)

These people been calling all times of the day stating they are a Pre-Legal Firm? and give you a file number! to make it look like an attorneys office. They said they are looking for an individual named "So & So" to take a statement before the Legal Documents are filled with our county. THEY ARE NOT A LEGAL FIRM! CAUTION! REPORT THEM TO LOCAL AUTHORITIES

They told me if I didn't pay before the end of the month, they will take it that I do not want to solve the issue, and further actions will be taken possible law suit. Who are these people? I am soooo upset right now. They mention they have been trying to contact us....NOT! I spoke to Joyce, Joseph F., and Cory R. They called me from a number 716-204-7535. I am so upset! They need to be caught and stopped who ever they are.

I have been receiving the same call from this number the last 3 days and today they called my job. I have not returned the call but  i am wondering what type of scam this is. Has anyone returned their call or gotten any resolution?

I received the same message along with everyone in my family! How are they getting these phone numbers? I have no idea what this is about!

I just recieved the same phone call AT WORK, and have no idea how they have obtained my work phone number!!!! They stated that they sent me an email back in May of this year, then stated that they also sent me a letter....but I never received it!!! I just recently experience being scammed by a "law firm" who took $295 from my VISA card..so I am a little paranoid about places like this.

I imagine this is just another scummy collection agency. My elderly mother, about TWO YEARS ago, ordered a necklace from Reader's Digest. They sent her an empty cardboard box with NO necklace inside. I called R.D. for her, and they said they would send a replacement necklace. Replacement necklace never arrived, but periodic phone calls by a succession of collection agencies did. (Needless to say, we will NEVER purchase anything from Reader's Digest again.)

Incidentally, this "pre-litigation" and "suggest you retain representation" crap should not legally be allowed, in my opinion. Carl, Anise and Sherry, did you ever even hear back from these clowns after their initial thuggish call?

I received the same type of phone call from this number which also referred to prelitigation and the 877 # listed above.  What on earth is this...some type of scam...I've been so upset all day trying to fiqure this out
