Got a call from this number pressed one was told his name was Mark. I asked to speak with his supervisor he said ok and hung up on me.

this number has called me as a recording saying they will lower my interest rates and to press one. the problem is, they don't identify who they are, and they've called me at work and at home.

got a call on my cell phone from this number this evening. did not answer it.

This number just called me and my girlfried, I used an area code look up. This number is BS, they were claiming to be Wells Fargo. I called them back from my PC - untraceable - the computer voice answered the phone Ameri-Trade.

I got this number called me to right in the middle of a meeting.  this was the 5th time this has happened and i'm really tired of it.

Don't answer numbers I am not aware of.  Called back and got a message that the mailbox is full.  As I can see from previous posts glad I didn't answer.

These calls are routed to your cell phone, based on your having verified a Facebook account with that cell number.  The caller is a fraudulent middle-man, working for American Financial Freedom Services, a Delaware corporation, being run out of San Ramon, California by an Indian woman on an H5 visa.  Not content for her husband to take an American engineering job, she has to run a scam on the side!  Let's give her some personal attention.  Oh, she has an "F" rating with the California Better Business Bureau.  That's as in "A+ to F", kind of "F".  She has 9 employees.  She may be reached at:

Remember, the BBB has documented that she just lies.  Never her fault.  Just lie.  If that's what you get when you tell her to stop calling, send a "Cease and Desist" notice, via email, to the aforementioned email address.  I would also call her network manager every time you are called, and/or visit personally.  These people do it because they can get away with it.  The authorities like fraud.  It's up to you to say, "NO!!!".

All my unknown calls are automatically blocked on my phone, then I check this database to see if it is junk before calling back.  Definitely won't be calling this number back and it will be going into my permanent block list.  Working well so far!

I got a call and no message, but I have gotten several of these since posting my resume on Monster.  Really pathetic that you're trying to find a job in this horrible economy and idiots want to prey on you with that information.  May not be realted, but I've had several similar ones offering jobs but not giving a company name. Even text messages. :(

Same here. Some lady asked me was I inquiring about the lower interest rate, and  I said yes (just to get more information from THEM lol). The convo:

Operator: Are you inquiring about lowering your interest rate?
Me: Yes I am.
OP: May I ask with whom am I speaking with?
Me: First of all, how did you guys get my number?

I don't have a credit card. The next time they call I will try to do more to get more information so I can report these people.

These people have nothing else better to do!  Who knows they may be getting a couple of dollars for each person that calls the number I wouldn't even waste my time!!  Some people just need to get a real freaking life.

same thing here....called my cell phone and did not leave a message.  If they call you back, do not share any of your personal information with them.

This number has called me several times.  When I "press 1"  to talk to a live operator they always hang up on me when I tell them not to call my number anymore.  They continue to call even after I have made it clear I do NOT want to receive anymore calls!

I answered the call, and got an operator on the other line who would not identify himself. He was extremely loud, rude, and obnoxious, and assumed that I didn't know what a low interest rate was. I already have a low interest rate on my credit card, which is what I told him.

He asked me where I lived, and when I stated it he hung up on me.

I believe this is a scam, don't answer and don't give out any information.
