The numbers being used are mostly spoofed in both call number and caller ID so it doesn't mean they actually call from the numbers that show up. Call spoofing is very common with the illegal telemarketers now.

They tried again this afternoon. I answered an a man tried to sell me a medic alert system or bracelet. He did not seem to understand my reply. He spoke English well enough, but he seemed unfamiliar with the language as a whole. Perhaps he was a telemarketer from another country using a US phone number.
