You know what? I welcome the court summons as anyone else on here should. You get your day in court. You explain the way they represent themselves as some court sponsored courier. If you are smart, you record your conversation (letting them know conversation is being recorded, of course), then you provide evidence that they 1) Never attempted to collect through standard means (US mail). 2) Never told you what you owe and from who.
In fact, for them to generally say "were a courier service. were just calling to verify your address". leaves much to be desired.
So, please, send me that summons. I've been waiting, willing and ready. I have no outstanding payday loans. If  you want to try to collect on loans that I already paid, let's see if the court will agree with you.

They break the law by first referencing the court system using words like 'court summons' etc. The Attorney General is aware of their collection practices and is in the process of investigating them. It's illegal to suggest anything like jail, summons, courts, etc. as a veiled threat. These people are on tape recording saying the rudest things. Their time will come. Message said the woman was Ms. Clark from a law firm, and two claims had been filed against my name. Gave a case #. I received a call from a different number but same message a few months ago. I am certain that I don't have any debts, so I ignored it.

DOC Servicing in New York or LSI.  Several phone calls recieved from this number and 888-891-5208.  Caller states they are calling for a person identified as living at this number who's name just happens to be similar to my 12 year old daughter.  The caller says something to the effect of "since you don't take your debts seriously we have identified your residence for service of process! You MUST call now to avoid a summons!"  There are several other harassing and threatening lines added for shock and awe.  My wife called to explain they had a wrong number and supposedly all is well.  I decided to call back because my debt or not, they were still practicing unfair debt collection practices and I wanted to identify the company.  After seceral phone calls, I began to call them out on this and they wanted to dismiss me "since it was not my debt anyhow."  During one transfer of the phone call I clearly heard a vistinct background noise identified in the two if the original calls, yet they denied that these calls came drom them.  On the third and final call I made to their "supervisor"  she childishly began saying repeatedly "hello? hello?  I can't hear anything.  Are you there?" She eventually quit this when I refused to hang up on her and called her out on it.  She finally gave me the name of the company speaking in very mumbled speech.  Once I made her use the phonetic alphabet so I could clearly understand what she was saying, she told me I was wasting her time and she was going to end the call.

i got a call from DAN RODGER and boy he wasnt playing.....it was a loan for 650.00 back in 10-11-08 and it turned into 1895.00 loan.....at first i thought he was joke but i have a unlisted number and it is in my wifes name and he found me and all my family member and really embrassed me but really got his point across......then i blew him off in september for a month after he told me he was retained on a 3500.00 retainer fee and after his 24hr notice they had a lil j*** off serve me court papers....i tried to call him back and it was already to late....a word to the wise dont take these loans to begin with and even thou they my not be the most professional pre legal office they mean busniess.....but outta all the calls i got dan rodgers was the best of at least giving you details and willing to work with you.....he tried to settle the whole account for 800.00 that month and i didnt think they could do wt they were telling me and at the end of the day i paided 5241.00 after court cost for 650.00.....REALLY.....should listen to mr.rodgers....he is at ext 308 if you have to deal with these scumbags.....aat least he will save you money lol

and by the way where do you get the time to go and look up scams/ collection agents or law offices to keep you and others away from paying debts back.. who are you in this economy to make others suffer do to your poor priority decisions.. i think we should think about ourselves as human beings and the others we polute just to not make things right. Now if you had the time to do all this work then you had the time to call back the creditor or office to resolve this. No this company is not legit!!  They were covered on a dateline segment.  They call you acting like they are lawyers and try to scare you into paying them or giving them your card number.  I called the BBB and my county court.  They both say SCAM!!  These people go as far as coming on to these web sites and posting more bogus stories to try and scare you even more!!  They are not legit and need to get real jobs!!  Just watch one of them will respond to this post.  If you need more to ease your mind from these idiots call the BBB and your county court.

This is whats funny all of you screaming scam and that these people called you boo hoo, you are all debtors.  You all have a debt that you owe and you try to hide behind the law to not pay it back.  Its one thing to really not be able to pay, its another to be a professional debtor and steal from corporations and financial lending institutions and make no quams of not paying them back.  I wouldnt define that as a pity party for you because you got a phone call for a payday loan and a CHECK YOU WROTE to gain those funds.  I bet you blame Obama for the recession ahhhh think again PROFESSIONAL DEBTOR you are the reason for financial institutions taking a hit.  Grow up and pay what you owe.  You don't forget about funds that are deposited in your account and that you remove from your account as soon as the bank opens the next day.  I am so sick of hearing people complain about collections and god knows they call my phone a million times a day but I expect that since I lost my job and ran up my credit cards.  But its called get back on track and start paying them back what you owe.  I used to have the same attitude about these people to until someone told me "right is right and pay what you owe".  I felt really dumb being called a professional debtor since my credit had only dropped from losing my job.  But I stopped the pity me story and paid off what I owed.

ABOUT A MONTH LATER I GET A KNOCK ON MY DAM DOOR AND GET SERVED WITH A SUMMONS TO GO TO COURT. WTF. SO I ENDED UP GETTING COURT MANDATED TO PAY 3,142.27 THRU A GARNISHMENT!!! THIS IS F****N B***S***, BUT I GUESS IT IS MY FAULT!!! SO IF YOU GET A CALL FROM ICS, I SUGGEST YOU LISTEN TO WHAT THEY HAVE TO SAY!! I SHOULDA PAID THEM WHEN I HAD THE F****N CHANCE!!!

I ignored the calls and at this point wish I wouldnt have...350.00 cost me 2795.36 ...its bad checks written on payday advances...when I first got the call I just brushed it off, then I spoke to someone who was just down right rude so of course I refused to take care of it.  BIG mistake 3 weeks later a process server came to my home and gave me a summons.  I tried to call the company back but they would not work with me at all.  Long story short now I have a judgement of 2795.36 and waiting for them to garnish me.  I think that they are unproffessional and rude but I would advise taking care of it asap.

This company called my aunt saying something about identity theft. I know I haven't stolen anybody's identity so I am totally lost. When I call the number it says ICS-Interstate Check Systems on the voice mail is a woman stating she is the assistant to the attorney. I have no clue who this company is and how in the world would they get my aunt's number??? If anybody has any info about this company please assist.
