This happenned to me today. they are rude and almost give me a Heart attack. Im old and i was told that I was going to be arrested.

I got an email from them and as soon as I saw it they called and I kept asking questions about it and I'm shocked on how they got my info.....

I got a call today by (716) 240-3045 this # claiming to be from ic3.gov

But i called the my local FBI and they told me its fake the ic3 is real but they never call anyone to get money from them...
This person said his name was paul smith and he wanted me to pay 789.00 and i said no for what abd why would i.... Then he threatened to send the local sherrif department with a warrent so that they can arrest me and he had my address which pissed me off even more... So i went to my local police department and they said its a scam and to call them if anyone shows up at my home....

Received messages from this number stating that he was calling about my loan and wanted to fill me in on details.  I haven't applied for any type of loan.  Definite scam!

I got the same phone call telling me the same thing I know good god well I did not apply forva loan with Cash Advance I ask for their phone number I was told that they are not eligible to give me that informotion I told theyI was going to look up Cash Advance and call them they told me to have a nice day and my local police will come take me to jail this is illegal to call and threaten a person over the phone

I got a phone call from this number 716 240 0028 did not telling me I owe for a loan I never got they told me if I dont resolve this that I will go to jail when I ask what company said that I owe them money I was told they are not eligible to give me that information. I am so tired of these people calling my phone trying to scam money from me. They talk real funny and sound alike.

Recently changed my number and started getting calls for the previous owner. This company listed as "ymax comms corp", on caller id has called 4x in the last hour. They get abrasive and argue that this is someone else's number and he better pay. After telling numerous times to remove the number they just keep calling.

I got the same message 6 times yesterday.  Today they called me and I just answered it but left it unattended.  This happened 5 times.  We'll see if he calls again.  His messages are threatening and rude.  And they all started AFTER I applied for a loan that I never ended up taking.  Clearly, they get your information and then scare you with it.

I received a call from them telling me that a cash advanced America was filing a suit against me and I have an arrest warrant out for me because of non payment of loan.  I have never accepted monies from cash advanced America.  this is a fraud and threating me with an arrest warrant is illegal.

I got the exact same message twice now. I threatened to contact a lawyer and the man named Jason Scott hung up on me.

I also recieved a phone as to the same matter.  Phone no 716-240-0028 keeps calling me.  I told him I was gonna him arrested became very violet with me.

Received a phone call that I was subject to serious legal consequences for some outstanding loan.  I have no outstanding loans!  Therefore, I checked this number and found out that it is a scam.  He claimed to be from US Legal Services.  His accent was so heavy I could barely understand him.  He said his name is Jason Scott.

They told me I was going to get arrested , I have nothing outstanding!!

The Internet Crime Complaint Center has received many complaints from victims of payday loan telephone collection scams. Callers claim the victim is delinquent in a payday loan and must repay the loan to avoid legal consequences. The callers purport to be representatives of the FBI, Federal Legislative Department, various law firms, or other legitimate-sounding agencies. They claim to be collecting debts for companies such as United Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Net, and other Internet check-cashing services.

According to complaints received from the public, the callers have accurate data about victims, including Social Security numbers, dates of birth, addresses, employer information, bank account numbers, and the names and telephone numbers of relatives and friends. How the fraudsters obtained the personal information varies, but in some cases victims have reported they completed online applications for other loans or credit cards before the calls started.

The fraudsters relentlessly call the victim?s home, cell phone, and place of employment. They refuse to provide any details about the alleged payday loans and become abusive when questioned. The callers have threatened victims with legal actions, arrests, and, in some cases, physical violence if they do not pay. In many cases, the callers harass victims? relatives, friends, and employers.

This number is also associated with 716-240-3045 they call my number saying they are from US Legal services and I have a warrant for my arrest because of some loan....that has been paid off for a while now....when I tell them that the foreign man gets upset and then hangs up! SCAM

I received a Phone Call from # 716-240-0028 Mobile from Buffalo,NY.These calls
are Abusive,Harassing,threatening Arrest and Lawsuits.Their tactics is
definitely ILLEGAL.I receive calls multiple times a day at all hours.These
people do not speak English,they are running a SCAM on innocent people.BEWARE
DO NOT send money to these thieves.What they are doing is against the law.File

Call from this number teling me in awful broken English thee was a warrent for hy arrest. I called the local police they ran a check and then said besides me being titally clear it is a scanner they have been getting reports on for sometime. Now I see a connection to payday loans which i investigated some months ago and then went with a company I have used for several years which is paid automatically each month. These guys don't even speak clear English and are frightening innocent people
