They keep calling me (716)2403045 now it's a new number 7149 . Before it was some jack Russell guy now some mark dude. That can't even talk English . Saying I owed 5 thousand & they send a email saying I owed 4bucks ... Everyone just call 911 & report them Indian ppl . Deadass

I have received so many phone calls from the guy who sounds Indian to me.  They even sent me a letter that the police will arrest me.  I called and askwhat the name of the company that he was saying I owe money.  I said "Oh my God" and then hang-up.  I know I don't owe any loan.  So when I called back, it was an answering machine and you can't leave a message.

Same here and he just keeps calling. He told me i would have a warrant in the mail. You don't recieve warrant's in the mail. what a dumb a**

Back in November, a man named Calvjn Johnson contacted me that I was approved for a 5k loan. I was interested because I was money tight at the time, so I asked how it worked. Heard the whole, load a greendot card with myfirst payment and ill have the money in an hour. Hung up at that point and went on with my life.

January rolls around, and this number calls, Calvin Johnson again...and now he's from State Law Investigations..what a promotion Calvin!!! now saying there's been an affidavit placed on my name and social. Called back, Calvin picked up saying "hello, is this Allie?"...oh, you're such a high tech debt collector that you have caller ID on cell phones? or ESP? anyway, proceeded to say the same as mentioned..owe a payday loan that was wired to my account and I needed to pay. Denied it, he recited my bank but not my correct account...I said you're not getting a dime and hung up.

5 min later he calls back, shot it to voicemail. Same voicemail, as though he never spoke to me, saying now there's a warrant and my sheriff is coming to arrest me. I laughed it off, and saved both voicemails to give me a giggle when I'm having a bad day.

2 weeks later, now Brad called sayin my lawyer must call, and if he doesn't hear from me, he wishes me good luck. Saved that one too.

Best part? In April, Calvin called me...to congratulate me on my preapproval for my new loan. The comedy never ends!! scam scam scam...but at least it's funny!

I received the same call from upstate New York claiming that I have a criminal court date and my social security number is in trouble man people today are f****ing crazy I have no criminal history and my life is straight no debts but rent and bills that guy needs a new job LMFAO ignore his a**

They called me on 4/24/14 saying he was someone from ics and they had a lawsuit against me and my SSN.  Told me it was imperative I call them back immediately.  Very hard to understand, think Indian accent.  I have not called back and don't plan on calling back. Will probably follow up with local police.

I just received the same call and when I laughed at him he started reading me my Maranda rights and started to get agitated. I told him to send out the sheriff because he was a friend of mine and we hadn't talked in awhile, and hung up on him!!

I got a call today by (716) 240-3045 this # claiming to be from ic3.gov

But i called the my local FBI and they told me its fake the ic3 is real but they never call anyone to get money from them...
This person said his name was paul smith and he wanted me to pay 789.00 and i said no for what abd why would i.... Then he threatened to send the local sherrif department with a warrent so that they can arrest me and he had my address which pissed me off even more... So i went to my local police department and they said its a scam and to call them if anyone shows up at my home....

This whole thread is full of comments by people who received the same phone call.  Your callers are foreign extortionists - pay them zip!   Anytime someone tells you that you have to pay by Greendot Moneypak card (or similar prepaid card) - it's a scam - always!  Remember that If you owe money to someone, then per federal law, they must mail - not email or fax - proof of debt/proof they can collect said debt.  You can safely ignore these yahoos.  Block their calls - if your phone doesn't have this feature, you can find lots of good call blockers at Amazon .com.

When the machine picked up caller hung up.

My wife got a voicemail from this place, that Brad fellow, stating the same thing as those above (very hard to understand, mind you). I called the number back and asked what company its was and that I needed more information. Brad said he was the one asking the questions, I said "no sir, at this point I'm asking the questions" politely. This went back and forth a couple of times before he just hung up on me. I called back again and told him I needed this information and that I was at the police station, that he could talk to the police officer right next to me if he wouldn't talk to me. He got quiet to which I asked him again if he wanted to talk to the police officer, he said yes and quickly hung up. I called back several times after that only for my call to go to his voice mail. I wasn't at the police station and there wasn't a police officer next to me. A real fraud investigator wouldn't pass up the opportunity to talk to the police, especially if there was a chance to have that individual arrested right that moment.  More proof that this was a scan...I love giving these guys hell back!

SCAM, SCAM, SCAM!

Called my aunt, blowing up her phone asking for me.  Called the number back 716-240-3045 and spoke the (David) yeah right.  Clearly foreign (middle eastern), could barely understand him and the call quality was terrible.  We were disconnected so I called again.  

Still barely audible, but I was able decipher that I apparently received a lone of $450 in 2012 and the funds were supposedly transferred into my account via EFT.  I have NEVER received an electronic funds transfer of $450.  He then proceeded to read me some 'Affidavit' and asked me not to interrupt him while he was reading it so I sat and listened to his pitch.  He knew the last 4 digits of my SSN and my personal email address, but wanted my mailing address.  

I asked him for the routing information of the account that received the funds and he gives me some routing number for GE Capital Bank (ok I do have a prepaid debit card through Walmart that used to use GE Capital) but funny thing is the routing number and account number do not match.  He gives me an account number of 353000000000000 - REALLY have you ever heard of such?  

I told him these were not my accounts and I have no record of receiving any such funds.  He tells me, "They don't care if you received the money... they just want their money back, and they have 17 pieces of evidence showing you are responsible for the EFT!"

He then proceeds to tell me that if I do not pay $595.00 that the police will be at my house within 24 hours to arrest me and they will also contact my employer to let them know I have been involved in cyber fraud and I will loose my job.  I asked them if I needed to contact an attorney at which point he put me on hold.  I sat for about 45 seconds and then hung up.  

I immediately called my local sheriff's department to report the call.  I was instructed to block the call.  If there was an Affidavit or Warrant... we know where to find you, they would not be asking for your mailing address.

He has called back twice in the last hour.

We all know if you take out a legitimate loan they would have your SSN, Driver's License, and mailing address.

Received an email an from some "lawyer" , and the number on the email matches this number!!!  I have listened to the email several time an still unable to understand it due to the lady not being able to speak good english!!!  Really tired of this crap. Can't someone stop them!!!

For call from the number saying that if I didn't call back they would come to my job with an arrest warrant.

They call and then stop calling and they told me I have to pay 595.00!   They have cussed me out and then told me I have to go buy a green dot pack to pay them!  They have been telling me that my documents are going to be downloaded and they have mercy on me!  Always end the call with God Bless your soul!!!!

Hubby got the same call today. I called Brad back from my phone and I'm a private investigator and after telling him who I am he hung up. Then he called my hubby back but it's showed up as I was calling my hubby. He hacked my # some how. I reported it to the police. They had my hubby's social and account info.

I keep getting calls from someone named "Jack Adams" from phone number 716-240-3045.  I called the police and made a complaint.  They just keep calling.  I NEVER have had a loan from anywhere but a reputable bank.

I got a call from 1-716-240-3405 on 3-13-2014 at 1:34 PM starting that owe an outstanding loan. I did not get a payday loan within the last 3 years from this so-called person who is trying to scam me.

Received a call from them saying I owe a loan of 595$ they have my email and full social security number and asked if I would make a payment to them for half on a green dot untraceable card...

I got about 30 calls from this number about loans and the last one said he will take out an arrest warrant out if I don't call back I think it's a scam but tired of getting calls

I received three calls today. The first two stated that there was court papers filed against me and the local sheriffs department is coming to arrest me. I picked up the third call and he gave me the exact same message. I told them if they had something to send me then send it but don not call me again and I hung up. He immediately called back I told him I would report him if he calls me again and he said "ok F___ you" and proceded to hang up. He never told me who he was with or what it was about.

These guys are from India (a scam).  I have received them from (supposedly) the IRS and a "law firm."  I told the "IRS" that the IRS does not make phone calls.  They send paper correspondence.  We argued for a while at the top of our lungs until I hung up.  I called him about every name I could think of.  The "law firm" threatened me.  I told them, "I am actually an attorney with a law firm in Indianapolis.  If there is a problem, we need to take care of this now."  They hung up.  I repeatedly called them back 30-40 times.  The "lawyer" finally said, "Don't call me again, you crazy bi***."  So, I didn't.  No more calls.  Hee! Hee! Hee!  Don't fall for these scams.

I think it's funny because where I live you have to have a felony warrant for the local police to come to your house. Yup scam for sure..

Yes, you should contact your bank.  You should report them.  Otherwise ignore 'em.  Total scam.
