"Miss Watson" again

Been calling my house for a month straight, despite me telling them to stop. I don't know who they are, but the harassment is getting out of control. About to start documenting.

Collection agency for PayDay Loan companies. Disguise themselves as attorneys calling about a law suit. They state "this is not a sales call"so they sound authentic. Block their number or change yours if they harass you. Just consider the source if it upsets you and pray they get a "real job" someday.

An authoritative "Miss Watson" says to call her back about something important. Do not ID themselves or what they're calling about.  Probably a computer call looking for a 'live' number.

PDL in Amherst, NY has an alert attached to it on the BBB website. It states: BBB has seen a major increase in collection agencies starting business in the Upstate New York area over the past several years. In an effort to keep consumers informed about which collection agencies are operating in accordance with federal and state law, we have asked for specific information from all collection agencies located in our service area, including proof of licensing, bonding, and or registration required by NY state or other governments where the business is located, as well as proof of licensing required by any state in which the business operates. This collection agency has not responded to our requests. BBB advises consumers to be aware of their rights in regard to collections. This includes New York States law prohibiting any collection agency from collecting on Payday loans in the State of New York. The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) outlines prohibited behavior when attempting to collect a debt, and outlines specific rights for consumers. There are penalties for agencies found in violation of the Act. BBB advises consumers to become familiar with their rights under the Act, which can be found at ftc.gov. To file a complaint with BBB go to bbb.org/complain."  The PDL listed in North Carolina also has an alert attached to it on BBB's website.

Got a call from  PDL group  pre-record message call from some scammer pretending to be from a law firm. Call mentions case # yadaydayda

Debt collector.

Left message at work. Official sounding recording but with an "insert name via computer voice" program.
More than happy to look into anything sent to me in writing. More than happy to sue for harassment if
they try the tactics listed in previous messages here.

PDL Recovery is not a real company.  The attorney I spoke with today advised that I can either file attorney paperwork or contact the FDC.

CONSUMER:  DO NOT BE FOOLED!  THESE PEOPLE ARE SCAMMERS!!!  CONTACT AN ATTORNEY OR THE FDC IMMEDIATELY!!

Thank you, Not Given.  These people are scammers.  They called today and I am getting a lawyer.

SCAMMERS!!!  PDL recovery is not a real  company!!!   They are not an accredited business on the BBB.  Nice try, scammers!  Every attorney I have talked to knows all about this company and have been advised to not give any info to.them!

This number had the nerve to call my Uncle to look for me IDK why but they if they wanted me they should of call me

Get a lawyer, 3rd party disclosure is a big no no.  Sue them barefoot.

Keep getting calls from both 716-242-8365 and 800-290-1065.
I have asked them to provide proof of debt they are calling about. To date nothing
in writing from this "alleged" debt collector.
Not only do they call me ( at times just hang up) they say that the police
are going to arrest me and are very nasty. Since I won't
answer & phone numbers are blocked , they are calling
family members, friends and acquaintances and leaving my
personal information about me and asking for my address or
phone number  . If this is a real creditor they should have
all of my personal information. What can I do about
this?

I am filing harassment charges with this company for giving me false information and calling me up to 30 times in a row. Had their # blocked and started receiving calls from a blocked #.  Now tonight I received 42 calls from a blocked #. It's 1:00a.m. where he's calling from. Seems like the person I had words with at PDL Recovery Solutions has taken it personally when I informed him that they will never get my $$. I have now had blocked #s blocked in which is not a free service.
I am at a loss of what to do.
Any suggestions?

They are a collection agency who has no back up support but blank threats.  So what? They say they are gonna file something with the courts.  A true legal actions doesnt call you from 9 different numbers and all hours of the night.  Its a scam.  Its a Ms. Reynolds, Mr Shay something and an idiot recording from a Mr. Fileds that makes him sound professional. Look up PDL Recovery online.  Its a huge scam!!!

References the 800 # 800-290-1065. A nasty collection agency that refuses to verify in writing (which they are required by law) any information so you can verify the validity of the debt. They ask you to give out SS#, address, etc. I would think, if they had a valid debt, they would already have that information.

Please Do Not Call a Person Job and just start talking,especially if you don't know who you are speaking to.  You are vilating the hippa law

It's a collection agency that seldom leaves messages.
