I get calls from this company several times a day, they use different numbers but the recorded message is always the same. I hang up. I have sent many many reports to the FCC about this, but this does no good either.  They claim to have important information about my electric bill. BULL! I am on the Do Not Call List, but it doesn't seem to do any good. Maybe that is where they get my number? Just saying.....

This board is simply a sounding board for people to vent and inform others of scam telemarketing calls they receive.  There is no authority associated with the 800notes site to stop these callers.  In order for people to collectively stop these type calls they must act together - and TAKE ACTION!.  It doesn?t do any good to complain about a caller on this board unless you then take the next step and do something about it!  And never, never, ever engage the caller or call back the number.  The false robo callers will then capture your number as a ?live one? and use it over and over and sell it to other scammers.
The DO NOT CALL list is worthless, they do not act on anything, just build a database of numbers.
In order to do something to help stop these type calls, everyone - EVERYONE needs to file an online complaint directly with the FCC.  If they receive enough complaints about a particular number - they will act on it.  Do it today and pass along the info:

Received umpteenth robo call that states that I can save money on my electric bill.  I have received these calls at least 2-3 times a week for several months now.  Usually I hang up immediately once I hear the recording, but I decided to hold onto the line so that I could talk to a person. All I got was a busy signal.

Asked for information on my electric bill and said i qualified for an electric supply discount through a supplier I had never heard from. I replied that I needed to look into this further before I agreed to anything and the woman immediately hung up.

I also get calls from this number almost daily. I have reported it but continue to get the calls. Doesn't seem to do any good.

Have gotten calls at least 2x per day for weeks- finally answered and hit the prompt to talk to someone- told her to get me off the list- if you just hang up they keep on calling!!! Whatever company this is will never get my business.

I get a call from this number every weekday. It is allegedly an ESCO, but is most likely a scam

I received a call from this number on my personal cell phone.Did not answer as I never answer calls from a number I do not recognize.So I called it from my out of area company phone and just got a message that if I want my number removed press 1.nobody answered just keep repeating the same message.

Receive these calls all the time. More than 3 this past few days. Shows North Tonawanda, NY on caller Id, so I don't pick up.

They have called me 2x. They want me to give them my account #! Not happening!!!

Just got a call from this number as well. They call every night. I hit 5 to speak to rep and they hung up on me!. Definitely reporting this!!!

Same...talking about electric bill savings.  Wondering why being on the do-not-call list doesn't block this stuff...

This is a robocall that states that you can save money on your electric bill.  I have received these calls at least 2-3 times a week for a couple of months now.  Usually I hang up immediately once I hear the recording, but I decided to hold onto the line so that I could talk to a person live to find out the name of the company and to get a phone number.  Someone answered and identified herself as "Amy" and she said, "do you have your electric bill in front of you?"  I told her "no" and then asked for the name of the company and phone number so that I could report them, and she immediately hung up without giving me any information.  However, the number above was on my caller ID, and I just filed a written complaint with the FTC.

this is some scam about "finding out which electric bill discount" you are eligible for.

"This is an important message about your electric and gas account.  Press 0 to connect."

Almost certainly a scam, since they don't give a corporate name.
