Called again on my cell and I have the number blocked - somehow they managed to get thru and they now started to call my home phone.  What nerve does this company have in calling me or my family.

These last two calls broke the straw off the camel's back.  

Going to authorities to file complaint.

Received numerous calls from this number in the past and just received two of them today on my cell phone at 8:35 am and 11:31 am on Monday June 4, 2012.  Left a message on the first call stating that I should call 1-888- (I erased message from cell phone) and to use my 10 digit cell phone number.  HAve no idea who this is calling.  Wish they would stop. Going to report to authorities.  Harassing calls.

This is the exact voicemail we keep getting...

"Hi, my name is Ms. Grant I'm calling with William Harvey and Associates. Your file has been assigned to me and I'd like to discuss the details with you. Please call me at 188846617828 ext. 327. Again the number is 1-888-466-1782 ext. 327. It's very important that you speak with me today. Thank you"

We have no idea what this is for, we haven't had any credit 'issues' since the early 1990's right after we were first married.  Definitely won't return this call because they obviously refuse to state who they are calling for.  Since we got this home phone number a year and a half ago, we have had numerous wrong number calls usually asking for a Steven or Kim Andrews (whoever they are, I can only assume they once had our telephone number).  Anyway, we are also on the Do Not Call list, so will now report the number there since it seems this is some kind of scam.

There was no name on the caller ID, just the number.  The message was a female voice and all that she said was,"Please call 888-466-1782 so we can discuss this matter".  Sounded bogus to me so I googled the 716 number and found this site.

called saying he had my file... probably a scam debt collector.

I have recvd several calls from these people.  They first said they were trying to reach my step-daughter because someone has placed a claim against her social security number.  They were told she has never lived here and lives in another state but they keep calling.  Now they are saying the thing about a file number.  Number 1, if they are debt collectors... they would send a letter to you, not call!  This is so bogus.

these guys called me first with a wrong name. when i informed them of that i started getting calls to my name. that was 3 years ago and i am still getting calls. he also seems to have no real knowledge of debt and credit law.  this guy needs to get arrested for harassment.

I got a message from the automated call saying that the file was ready for review, and also say to call back to a specific phone # and to refer to the file number which they provide. I returned the call to the phone # 716-247-6326 that was shown in my caller id with the name of  Harvey William and a person answer  saying "Harvey Williams and associates how may I assist you" when I ask that person who are you and why are you calling, my call was place on hold and when the person came back to the phone I told her  I do not have any case so I don't know what file you are talking about, the person say  "the only way to know is by checking, did you get a file  number? "  and I told her it was given to me to fast and I did not get it and then the person say " Did  you get a call from us let me get your phone number to find out" and I said that I don't feel comfortable giving my information because I did not initiate the call and she say "it might had been the wrong Number  but If you don't give us the phone number you will keep getting calls from us that all".  I forget to mention when I ask what kind of business they are she say a paralegal company that help attorneys with their files. I did not provide them with my phone # and terminate the call.

A voicemail was left on my house phone yesterday, June 9, by a woman identifying herself as Jennifer from Harvey William and Associates, saying "your file is ready" and that I could reach her at 888-466-1782. The caller ID listed the caller as "William, Harvey."

I keep getting calls from this number EVERYDAY and they leave some bogus voicemail about my case been handed over by some "Harvey" person.  I'm getting very frustrated and don't know how to report them or have them to stop calling me.  I do not want to call back the number they ask me to call back.

My mom has started getting this call.  I told her not to answer it or call back.  Thanks for the heads up guys.  She has no debt and excellent credit so I can only assume he's as crooked as they come.

Received a message saying it was Harvey Wallace and associates.

It's a debt collector. Even with the wrong number & a name I've never heard before they're still calling me. 4 times in the last hour... after telling them they have the wrong number. The guy on the phone, who didn't give a name & I can only assume it "Mr. Harvey" (one of several I don't doubt) gets belligerent & angry when told its the wrong number & that I'd like to be removed immediately.

Someone from this number called and left a message saying a file of some sort had been transferred to a "Mr. Harvey" and that I need to return the call at 1-888-466-1782, ext. 314.  I researched this toll-free number and apparently, it belongs to a debt collector, which is odd because no one in my household has any unresolved debts.

I've received two calls from this number in the past 3 days.  It's a recording of this guy saying that my file has been transferred to some Harvey character and that he needs me to call him back at

Sounds like some sort of scam.  Any suggestions on how to block it or why they are calling?!
