The called my wife's cell phone. They said they sent me something in the mail 30 days ago with no response to me.

Third party debt collection. Eastern Asset Management Company. Mr. Lagrecha calls saying that he is a civil litigator and in charge of all civil court matters. They are trying to get me to pay a debt that has long since been charged off, written off as bad debt, written off on the vendors taxes AND more importantly off my credit report SEVEN years ago.

I have receoved threatening calls from a bogus law firm, Morgan, Stoner, and Associates. the call came from Buffalo,NY. Does anyone know who these people are?

I keep getting calls from these people as well I think it is from a past payday loan debt, will they really pursue legal action like they are threatening?
