This guy called abt some old account and Im not sure how to deal with it. I politely declined to answer any questions and asked him to send me whatever he wants. We are past the statutory period - he just hung up

I was contacted a few times and they just keep calling but can not get me and thing in writing.  I have now called and reported it as fraud and hope this company doesn't call me again.

Evans Law called my number 3 times in 1 day. I have the same last name of the person they looking for, but I am not related to that person, and do not know them. I gave them this information, repeatedly....but they kept calling. At one point, they would not hang up the phone........Very Rude and obnoxious. Not sure what eles I can do to make them stop.........

OMG....I should have looked at this website first. They called like I was in a litigation process right by the attorney's office. I knew something was crazy when I asked to speak to the attorney and they would not let me. I also kept asking if my credit would be updated once they paid the debtor and they could not give me a straight answer. They were so rude to me. Thanks for sharing your experience everyone.

I wouldnt even return the call for concern they will try to get information to haress me or my elderly parents even more as some kind of rip off scheme. The guy left a message at my parents home and I am not aware of any kind of account that I have ever had in the last 40 years that I would have ever listed my parents phone number or address or anything and they dont even live in the same state I live in! The guy left a very long and very obnoxious and threatening message and just repeatdly referred to himself as "the law firm" and Mr McClary. He sounded like an uneducated drug addict and thug more than a well educated attorney! I cant even think of anyone that I would legitimately owe a debt!

first of all the attorney Jason Evans does not communicate directly with anyone unless he has initiated suit against them. the letter that you would have originally recieved would have had no other information then your contact info , the original debt information and the firms information. obviously you never had the intent to make good on your obligation to pay a debt that you were not forced to incur. It is so tiring to have to listen to people try to wiggle out of debts that they never had an intent to pay in the first place. Be a man (or woman) and just say I never plan on paying my debts instead of making arrangements and then renigging on them

While at your job as debt collector, you might want to read up on the FDCPA before you go spewing off on message boards.  Debtors don't go to Federal prison, nor is there a debtors prison.

Before you go off on another one of your rambles again, you might want to press the Caps Lock button again, since aside being oblivious to facts, you seem to be quite oblivious to the fact you are typing in all CAPS like a 5 year old child.

I am sure that you that you do use the federal prison spiel with some of your more uninformed debtors, but you should also be aware that that is also a FDCPA violation.  I'll see you in court!  LOL!

I read your revolting spew in the previous messages and want to ask you this.  I have no debt.  None.  Zero.  Nada.  Zilch.  I owe nobody anything.  Now I get a phone call from your lousy firm, they claim they can't send out validation of the alleged debt to me, and if I don't pay immediately, they can't keep it out of court.  I guess that according to you that I am a deadbeat and should pay the amount immediately.  My question to you is that if you think that calling up someone, and they should roll over and pay, without even a validation of the debt? Thanks Sunfir!  I just got contacted by them too, same phone number.  I was suspicious because real lawfirms do not call by phone, they contact you by Certified Mail.

just wondering how your lawsuit is going.  this office is sueing me and i live in buffalo. It is ridiculous what they have gotten away with so far.  So far I have written to the NY Attorney General,which i have a response from and they have contacted Jason Evans, i have also contacted the Lawyer Greivance Committe, who have answered me and will do nothing.  I have filed an answer to his case and will not back down.They bought an old loan i had that was paid in full and are sueing me for some amount they cannot even give me information on of where it came from.
